Re: Turbo Sliders - plans for the near future
Even though for all intents and purposes the free version is fully featured, strictly speaking it's still a trial that has some very minor restrictions compared to the full version - most notably the demo video on launch and the nag screen on exit. Now, the problem is not that you can't modify the ...

Re: Turbo Sliders - plans for the near future
Of course we are sure the game is updated to the latest version - we worked on the update together with the author. As you can see, modding is pretty free, but it still doesn't mean you can do whatever you want to. And, even if Antti would allow such thing, I'm quite sure it would just produce more...

Re: Turbo Sliders - plans for the near future
Strange. Are you sure this is updated to the latest version? As far as I know, this game don't have a demo anymore, it´s free to play. I read on the documentation how to mod the game, even how to make total conversios of it. And it was written by the author. It's in the docs folder. Why would the au...

Re: Turbo Sliders - plans for the near future
I understand. How is the license for total conversions of Turbo Sliders? If the license is permissive enough we can wrap Turbo Sliders into a MOD that satisfies Steam requirements by ourselves. Change default tracks/cars/graphics/sounds to put community ones and upload it to Steam. It will be still ...

Re: Turbo Sliders - plans for the near future
Hello community. I used to play this game a long time ago (10-12 years) and was half happy to see it is still alive, but half sad to see the online community apparently dying out. This game is great even for today's standards. I downloaded and installed it yesterday and it still delivered the joy I ...

Here i come again
Hello. Here i am again. I think it has passed almost 6 months since the last time i've posted here. Well, I had a hard time at college last semester, but this doesnt mean im dead :D. I am the original translator of the brazillian portuguese version, and i would be glad to continue my work, if it's n...

It is somewhat open yet whether translations will be added to the main installer packet. Although we trust you all contributors are making a good job, it would still be good to be able to check that there are no bad errors. I understand enough Swedish to check things with it, but with some other la...

I would like to ask Ande if he used a special graphical tool to rotate and put lights in the car sprites. If there's a tool like this it would be a lot easier to create cars with the graphical quality of the new version. Probably Photoshop does it, but i'm looking for a simpler tool, possibly develo...

I didn't have to use pgup and pgdown until now i guess... Yeah, when i connect to servers from Brazil i don't have to use pgup-pgdown either, but since the beta server for 0.98 is in Europe, i've realized of this problem and how it can be extremely painful for people that's not connecting from a ne...

Is there any chances of developing more cars to the game before it ships? I think 5 cars is not enough, and creating more cars would certainly add precious value to the product. I don't know if that's me, because i'm used to have the PU cars installed in my machine since my first day in TS :? , anyb...

Re: Flags
What I think is the best solution by far is to use German and U.K. (Union Jack) flags. I would prefer the idea if someone translates the game in portuguese instead of brazilian portuguese. I guess brazilians can understand it, or? This is because the original language is spoken in Portugal (Hope I'...

This discussion is pointless. Ande is the one who's going to decide which flags are going to ship with the game anyway. But my opinion is that having a flag that mix Germany-Swit.-Austria is good, it shows respect for the three countries and it's pretty obvious that its intent is to represent the la...

and btw ( i know, it doesn't fit in this thread) my _first_ testmap-> http://homepages.at/shrakk/test.zip Very good track. I'm wondering if we have any chances of having our test tracks released within the official version, as official tracks. I would be glad to work on 1 or 2 tracks to send for ev...

Lol Creator.
Ok then. So I took creator's suggestion and picked up a brazillian flag at flags.com.
So here's the brazillian portuguese translation, and the flag.
