I stated several times that I'd gladly help if we used an existing core (such as an open-source CMS, I don't know which one but I'm sure it's worth investigating) and expanded on that. Okay then, let's talk about it. Last time you didn't listen to our suggestions and as little as I experimented wit...

Re: 0.86 Retro Trackpack
Yeah, it should but it just isn't. Whatever Ande says about the game mechanics haven't changed but there was noticeable difference on how the cars behaved on 1.0 and some more on 2.0.Flexman wrote: gameplay should be the same

Re: 0.86 Retro Trackpack
I created a track pack with all the old tracks from Turbosliders 0.86 I still had on my computer. Quite a selection of tracks.. in bad and in good :D The trackmaking has come a long way since 1.0 was released. As all old timers know Turbo Sliders haven't been the same after 1.0 came and especially ...

I tried it too but didn't find the place where to install all the necessary runtime libraries.. so it didn't work for me. Hmm, I didn't do anything other than just install the Crossover Games and through it Turbo Sliders game and tada. There is a way to get OpenGL support for Darwine but it must be...

You know.. I'm running Turbo Sliders 2.0.0 Windows version under Mac OSX Leopard through Wine with no problems. Oh yeah, that really works. I also got the sound. As I understand OpenGL would need Crossover -software which costs money. Although the performance could be better because the car movemen...

I have used TS in 64bit Linux and wrote something about it, http://sliderpoint.com/ts-in-linux#64bit. Just some emulation libraries and your fine.
And I would like to have TS binaries for OS X or the source but you can't always get what you want

I've written up a new blog, 'iBlaze² on Nov 08's DIT'. You write a blog entry not a new blog. I've also revamped the home page slightly, adding a clock and filling the dead space with some fish that follow your cursor around You may think that adding flash elements to web pages is great but your wr...

Offtopic follows: Does the 360 D-pad work good for you? Like spending money on batteries or recharge add-ons? D-pad, haven't had any problems with it. And the sixaxis runs on holy spirit, eh :) Oh, and, people can stop saying 360 has better games now, that ended some months ago. True, true, b...

Analog buttons are cheating compared to playing with keyboard.Keppana wrote:I am testing Xbox 360 controller which is compatible with XP. Seems like digital buttons works, I wonder has it support for analog buttons. I would be happy to use triggers as acceleration/braking and tats for steering.

Re: Long time no see!
You know, I could create an alt-account on this forum, say "I'm a player who quit the game along time ago, no I'm back!" and ask for another key... :| I think that you always have to have some identifications that you have already bought the license and they just give you the same license...

Great! Both binaries run fine on my Gentoo desktop althought I did some symbolic linking with the libraries for the rc3-version. OpenGL gives me fps about 62 and SDL shows 111. With quick test I didn't notice any lagginess. Don't know about the audio, because I haven't used it for ages. About the Gl...
