Can someone show steps how to make the pattern image (pat file shown on left) using Photoshop. (Including index colors and loading the TS pallette to have the right indec colors)

Since you didn't make the graphics yourself, there is no fast/reliable way to make the pattern file and you should just continue where you left off.

Should have just asked me, as I made the pattern file for that track (with the help of Mr. BluT of course.. who did all the hard work).
Contact me in MSN and I'll try to help you. Really, It's just about using the line tool in PS to outline the track, then fill it in. Same with sand areas. Then use the terrains.ter file and attach IDs to each color (when you make the image indexed color), or you can load the pat file of one of my tracks, and use that table.
