It's quite hard to realize, but you need photoshop to create them.Scud wrote:Is there any guide how to do tracks with photoshop? What kind of programs you need to do that?
I'm planning to make a tutorial for creating a PS track, it's in my todo list (entry 732). If anybody understands spanish, there is one made by MRO guys. That's the way I learnt.

Maybe the program you need is Photoshop? Just a guess anyway......
It depends how you're going to do your track. I myself have used the compination of Inkscape to draw the tracklines and then editing the track line on GIMP and making the pattern. Photoshop may be a bit easier to use than GIMP but it's a lot more expensive also.Scud wrote:I meant to ask do I need other programs

You just need to mess around in inkscape to learn a technique. I only use 2 tools: Pencil (10th down) and Node tool (2nd down). Mess with them and you will figure it out... it took me a bit to get a "talent" for it.Scud wrote:I have now Inkscape & GIMP2(free, so I forgot Photoshop). First i need to learn to use those programsLets start with inkscape, is there any "tricks" that i need to know when drawing track shape (formats, size & stuff like these)? Thanks if someone bothers to give some help/hints.
