then that means that most races start at 3:00 p.m. and I get out of school at 3:00, and get home at 3:30 p.m. I'm still a little confused, everything needs to be translated into U.S.A dates and times exept the english. Mouse could you help :?

just subtract 6 hours.
ehehe, it depends on what part of USA's 3 time zones. :P

www.timezoneconverter.com

for East coast USA indeed it is -6, but it could be different. Inferno you live in Michigan i see, so it may be -7 for you...

Use that link above to be sure.

Yes I know, that's why I compared Valletta to Detroit (Detroit is in Michigan, right?).

3? Correct me if I'm wrong but I have learnt that there are 6 time zones in the USA: Eastern time, Central time, Mountain time, Pacific time, Hawaii time and Alaska time.

Well yeah, but i was thinking of the time difference from East coast to West coast, which is 3 hours. Not including Hawaii and Alaska.

Yes it is, i'm trying to figure out everything before the tournament starts... there's a possibility that I might not be able to race, but does it start in August or September?

Thanks again for signing me up, Jeff. About using the community server, it shouldn't be a problem as long as it will be online. Actually it IS a matter of server's stability: we need a stable server for a tight, fair, hi-quality championship. Having 20 cars on small tracks would generate some problem, in my opinion (20 players in MotoGP tournament wouldn't, instead).

Please Jeff contact me via msn in next days.

Didn't you quit turbosliders? What's the point of continuing posting here then?
Being kicked from a team just means that the team doesn't need that player anymore for a certain reason (and this reason is known only by interested players, it's not public). You can't say that a player isn't serious, dedicated, punctual, responsible, experienced and fair just because he was kicked from a team.
And anyway, your post was quite much off topic.

Back on topic. At the end of the Toca Tour is someone going to make the videos? The other two were good.

Probably not. I will not have any time to make videos for each race... maybe a season recap video but that's all.

Some more info would be nice :) Is there going to be pitstops, fuel, qualify, teams like in your own F1 series, etc.?

Indeed it would be nice to know.

I HOPE that if this is a fuel cup, that slowdown will be off or very small. Having to calculate a fuel strategy for each race will become very hard with each race so near each other. Would be nice just to have pit stops just for fun, each driver needs a stop n' go. No strategy needed. Jeffrey give us this! :P

Also, thanks for the comments on my videos. :) Indeed they do take a bit of time to do, and there is no way i can do a video for each race for this cup (and it usually turns into boring work around the 3rd or 4th video).

Strategy is what I appreciated the most out from the first Toca Tournament. Beating faster players by using a different strategy (and sometime with some luck) is so exciting, and gives the possibility to slow players to challenge faster ones. I can't forget those battles between me, mike and waza. Mike was so much faster in some track, but me and waza had sometime unbelievable great tactics. So much fun. Playing with "fake-fuel" (fuel with no slowdown) would mean having a normal race with the addition of some complaining about pushing in the pitlane (pitstops will not change anything, excluding when some player is pushed in the pitlane).

I don't like to have races near to each others, because I always like to test my strategy and I won't have the possibility in many cases this time. But after all, this will make the competition tighter.

Anyway, I agree that the car and settings should be published now, so that players can start training and getting ready (some player never played with this type of car, and some never experienced a real fuel race). I also suggest of organizing a couple of "practice events", so that players can experience the driving style, behaviour, overtaking, etc.

About having teams, I think it's a good idea (f1-style). But now it would be quite hard defining them. Strategies would become quite important with teams (and funny as well!).

I'm looking forward to check some player's level, expecially Jazzyclub's and GPOR's generally (Jazzy said they can handle this type of cars very well, because they had a tournament based on them).

I could miss the first race, because I'll be coming back from holidays in that day. But not sure yet.

I agree with dede that there should be fuel slowdown. Different strategies is the main reason why I like fuel cups. :)

That team thing would be a nice idea. I don't think it would be hard to define them because there are many players signed up that are in same TS-teams.
Maybe the teams could be something like this:

Team 1: TSM (Jeffrey & Ronald)
Team 2: fS (Keppana & Jan)
Team 3: Ippon² (Olio & Dede)
Team 4: NoLo (Lamppu & Xzeal)
Team 5: GPOR (2 GPOR members)
Team 6: Inferno & 1 GPOR member

This is just my suggestion.

I guess and hope we will see well organized and tight cup! :)

Ah, great idea. If Inferno gives up, Migo is an italian player -> he could team up with BluT (if Mouse+Jazzy in GPOR team). And about other teams, they are already perfect. Having a team ranking (important as much as the single one) would add a lot of fun to the season. Teams teams teams!
