Subscriptions are closed now. Scud and Hejman have 3 days to communicate their partner or they won't take part to the competition.
In the meanwhile, country-based rounds can start (except the finnish one).
=========
ITA1 vs ITA2
ITA2 vs ITA1
=========
POR1 vs POR2 11-9
POR2 vs POR3
POR3 vs POR1 3-10
POR1 QUALIFIED!
=========
Every match listed has to be considered as one single leg. Matches are goal limit based (10 +2) without any time limit. Sides are decided by drawings (POR1 vs POR2 means left side for POR1 and right side for POR2).
Rules are the same used in the TDi PunaBall League, except for the timelimit which is unlimited.
It's not possible to use the same nicks during the cup, and colors between players have to be different enough.
Please play these games as soon as possible, so that we can start the real cup in next week.
Additional info:
- If a group is composed by two teams, and results of two legs are even, one more leg has to be played (sides are switched again).
- If a group is composed by three or more teams, and two or more teams end up with even points, ranking will be made considering: 1) direct match winner (if teams are two); 2) goals difference. If it's all even, a random team will be picked.

Tonight at 20:00 CET there will be random drawings to the server called "Punaball 2vs2 World Cup - Drawings". There will be two groups composed of five teams each. Two best teams will qualify to semi finals, which will be scheduled as follows:
Winner G1 vs 2nd Place G2
Winner G2 vs 2nd Pace G1
Each match will consist of two 10+2 goals unlimited-time games (with sides switching).
From now on, team captain (I assume that it's the one who signed the team up) will be free to change team composition: as announced before the first round started, it's possible to substitute one player (or even the full team) during the competition. It will be similar to football national teams:
- "captain", the one who decides who will play ("coach" in national football teams, but in here captain plays as well)
- "team players" (limited to 23 at football Euro, for example - here, instead they mean all players connected from that country).
Good luck to all countries represented in this competition, may the best win!

Random drawings (not basing on skill level, like the [fS] Championsip) generated two different groups. One is composed by two very strong teams such as Finland and Netherlands, plus other average-good teams. The other group seems quite easy for Italy, and tight for second place.
Here is the drawing quote:
1. Spain
2. Italy
3. Estonia
4. Canada
5. France
GROUP B:
1. Germany
2. Netherlands
3. Portugal
4. Finland
5. Denmark
Matches has to be played AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Every team can arrange matches (any order) contacting other teams (use the MSN/EMAIL addresses you find in the first post of this thread).
CUP CAN START! GOOD LUCK TO ALL TEAMS!
