Yep, that's pretty much how we feel too. In the first game we were okay: Borg played cautiously due to his known lag problems, allowing me to dominate the game with good backup. In the second game (on Borg's server) he played more aggressively, leaving less room for me, kind of breaking my "flow". Not blaming it on him, but having 2 overly active players on one team usually doesn't work in PB. At least that's my theory.Chevron wrote:Great game anyway. Me and miksa both agreed that our game wasn't on the level it should be yet but i'm confident that as the tourney progresses we will get better and better.

Yeah, I can sign on that. Two as you say overly active, or as I call them, dominant players don't do much good result-wise. I myself have to play more passive now when I'm playing with miksa than I'd normally play but apparently it has been working out good for now.
Burning curtains since 2004
Imo Tijny's performance in our first leg was one of the best, if not the best, ive ever encountered. Atleast offensive wise.
...and an annoucement im sorry to have to make. I will not be able to play between 10-22/7, since im off to a vacation in southern Spain. Rattle? will be stepping in for me...

Denmark 7-10 Finland
Finland 10-6 Denmark
First match was fair, I think we were very unlucky in the beginning of second match, and after the 5-3 goal they just scored whenever they liked. After all a fair win, but damn, if we just had a little bit of luck in some siutiations, we maybe could have won.

Well yeah, first game started with a glitch goal, it kind of took me out of my mood, so the score soon was something like 5-1 to you.. Well we really struggled and on the 9th goal of yours we changed our strategy, it seemed to work for a while so we got 10-6.. The other game we started with the same strategy, but when you got your 7th goal, we really didn't bother to play anymore, since we did not have any chance...
Was a good game though and we learned a valuable lesson.
Perhaps we could manage to compete for the second place in the group?
