I quess you are right. I lost my motivation because of some personal reasons & because this cup started to eat too much time. I asked if Nerd is willing to host remaining races, he said yes but i heard there was only 6 players in last race so im pretty sure this cup is now officially dead, sorry for that. Maybe 10 races was too long cup anyway...Rostami wrote:I guess this cup just died...

Maybe it's too long, but my problem was that I had not every monday evening free for TS. Now I have more time, but JUST now it seems to be finished...
However, even if we will be only six or so, if Nerd will host the remaining races I think I will race. Maybe he can try to change the start time to have more pilots in...

Actually, I think this is a good length for a cup. But personally, I think a better idea would be to open the cup up for anyone rather than sticking strictly to the entry list.Scud wrote:Maybe 10 races was too long cup anyway...
Still announce the cup at the beginning and get people to sign-up, in teams of 2, good idea.
Races would still be held at a regular time, but rather than making it mandatory for players to compete, they can choose to compete or not.
Similarly, if there are free spots, other players can join (but obviously priority goes to pre-registered players).
Anybody wishing to form a new team during the cup (as mjay and Burnout wanted to) can simply announce in the forum that they are teaming up and compete.
If we get more than 20 pre-registered players, then use 2 servers for qualification, as dede does with the IHLC when there are more than 20 players, and only the fastest 20 players will be allowed to race.
All results would count towards the championships and those players who are serious about winning the championship will still compete all the time, but those who aren't as motivated or don't have the time can play only in certain races.
It gives more players the opportunity to play, keeps numbers up during the championship, and rewards the more motivated players (rather than letting the championship and all their efforts die).
Just an idea though
