Suggestion for scoring in GPOR F1 Season

Is there anyway that in the next season scoring could be changed so that drivers don't lose any of the points they've earned?

Here's my reason for asking. For me, as a new driver, every point means a lot. I'll get one point here and there by placing when all of the experienced drivers are off line and it's just new players racing.

So let's say I race in ten races and come away with four points. Another driver (racer x I'll call him) also gets four points in those ten races. Now the next day I continue racing, but now I'm racing when there' a lot of experienced drivers online. I come in last in ONE race and lose all four points that I had earned before. Racer X, who decides not to race when there's a lot of people on, is now ahead of me just for not racing.

So you see, with the way races are scored now, newer players are punished for racing in big races and when the experienced racers are out. But that's when racing is the most fun! Not only do I love to race in big races and watch the best drivers go at it, I like socializing with all you guys.

The current scoring system, if I've got it right, goes like this.

1 place= 5
2nd = 4
3rd = 3
4th = 2
5th = 1
6th = 0
7th = -1
8th = -2
9th = -3
10 = -4

Why not after the one point given to 5th place, 6th through 10th just all be given 0? It seems more logical and fair that way.

I think points are deducted to help the actual good drivers (those who win a lot) compete with those who just do a ton of races.

average players can win the champ by playing much games, right now

if we remove the "malus" we'll just exasperate that situation...

we can thing about a weekly (daily?) compensation for negative players: every monday all negative points returns to 0...

Or the 1vs1 comparison that has been coming as long as I've been playing TS. But still I haven't seen it in action
