I'm happy to announce that a new season of the succesful F1 League is going to start in February. Subscriptions are now open. If we reach 40 subscriptions, I will split the league into two groups basing on driver skills (we'll see later how to do that, if needed).
Unreleased tracks are needed. If you make any and if you would like to have them in the league, submit them to my e-mail address (a.squizzato[at]mclink[dot]it).
General info
Car: TSE-F1beta (you can download it from GPOR server)
Tracks: TSE style, unreleased (to be downloaded from the server)
Rules: fairplay racing; priority subscribed players to join the race (order of subscription)
Fuel: Fuel on. Amount: 1650sec of accel. Fill: 20 sec. Idle cons.: 75.0 % Full slowdown: 20.0 %
CanChangeStartFuel: ON (startfuel can be set for each session - race startfuel must be set to the value communicated by admin)
Race format
Each race includes two practice sessions and a qualify session. This is a short explanation of how it will work:
Practice 1&2
These are the sessions where people can try the track for the first time. It is possible to test fuel strategies and learn best lines. It's possible to set startfuel freely and make pit stops. Each session lasts 5 minutes.
Qualifications
It will be possible to drive up to a fixed number of laps (based on track length). Fuel remaining after last completed lap will be startfuel for the race. If a driver pits, the amount of fuel he added will be subtracted from the final amount of fuel (minimum default amount of fuel for race is 7%).
Players can decide to complete only few laps in order to save fuel for the race.
Race
Race will last about 25 minutes (number of laps is variable, depending on track length). Startfuel must be the one remaining after last completed lap in qualifications, except for the ones who didn't qualify (they are allowed to set a custom fuel level).
If players forget to set startfuel for the race, they can recover their mistake by giving way to all players behind them in the first lap.

Sliding Entry List:
The main idea is to give guaranteed spots to active players rather than assigning them to those who signed up first.
Top 20 players have guaranteed spot in next race.
Players who joined less than half of the races (0 out of 2, 1 out of 3, 2 out of 5...) will lose their spots if they are in top20. Those who are out of top20 can join the server as long as there are spots. In case server gets full and a player with better entry list will show up before the first practice session, priority will be given to that one.
Spots are assigned basing on joined races and eventually signup order.
