Endurance Race League SEASON OVER. RACE SUNDAY AT 1:30

I am going to host a 7 race endurance league. it is going to be called the Stock Car Oval League. i have made a new car, acts the way a NASCAR Cup Car drives. each race will be on an oval track, some races will be on small tracks, some on large. there is no need to sign up, just show up and race. points for positions here -

1 - 100 PTS
2 - 90 PTS
3 - 80 PTS
4 - 70 PTS
5 - 60 PTS
6 - 55 PTS
7 - 50 PTS
8 - 45 PTS
9 - 40 PTS
10 - 35 PTS
11 - 30 PTS
12 - 25 PTS

if you do not finish the race, you will only get 30% of your points.
the races can only have up to 12 drivers at a time, so if you cant get in, come earlier next time. if you want you can come and race one or 2 races, there is no need for you to race them all, unlees you want to win the cup.

i will be editing this post often, giving the full rules and other info.

My website will be done in a few days, but untill then, here is the schedule (not final)

Sunday June 12th - Size 5 Pinched Oval - 200 Laps
Sunday June 19th - Size 2 Regular Oval - 300 Laps
Sunday June 26th - Size 6 Tri Oval - 200 Laps
Sunday July 3rd - Size 5 Stock Car Road Course - 150 Laps
Sunday July 10th - Size 10 Super Oval - 100 Laps
Sunday July 17th - Size 2 Paperclip Oval - 300 Laps
Sunday July 24th - Size 7 Tri Straight Oval - 200 Laps

Yes that is a lot of laps, each race will be about 45 minutes long, but thats endurance, and the number of laps will not decrease before the race.

remember, all of this is not final, shedule, rule and race info may change.

ok. the server for the first race will be going up in about 2 hours. (12:00 PM EST now). not many people replied to this topic, so i hope i will get many people in the race.

i will put up an autoserver now giving info on the race.

ok dont worry guys, the race was rescheduled for next week. i was having connection problems, and nobody showed up for the race, so we will have to try again next week. and eddie

i went there in 2002, bill eliot won

but you got to see carl edwards do a backflip, again, lucky SOB. haha.

Mouse, if you want, i can host your race at Terra-TSB server.

I don't know how is the ping there for non-brazillian players, but with 20 players on that server, the ping keeps on something about 60-80ms.

You just have to send me the tracks:

Would you like me to add the dates to the calender in the TSCUPS website? I can also make a news headline about it if you would like. i dont know if it would help but more publicity is more publicity.

The First Race is on Sunday the 19th (tommaro) it will start at 2:00 PM EST (-4 GMT - Eastern Daylight Time). i hope you will fill the server! (remember, it is a max of 12 players, so it is a first come first server basis)

If its a good race, (im sure it will be) would you mind if i uploaded the replay to my site as soon as it finishes and write a report and the results? id understand if you wanted your site to be the first with everything on, but i thought i would ask

Just count the time yourself: 2:00 PM EST (-4 GMT) and +3 GMT and so we get 14:00+4+3 = 21:00

OK, ill be there, cant garentee ill be any good, as im gonna watch the GP (if there is a GP) at the same time.

If people want to enter their pre-post race comments their welcome to. Enter them Here and i can include them.

Mine are "this will be the first time i have ever competed in an event with such a distance, i dont know how good my consentration will be for 200 laps, but i look forward to the event, and my main aim is just to finish the race and preferably on the lead lap, but if drivers like Tijny and Mike Nike compete then i think 195 laps might be the best i can hope for."

my pre race comment -
"this is the longest race i have ever raced in, it will be much longer than the other 2 endurance races i have hosted. my goal for the race is to finish in the top half of the pack, i know i can finish, i have lots of endurance experience playing Gran Turismo on Playstation 2. its gonna be good".

4th - [nS]Sativa +57laps
5th - fasteddie399 +170laps

can you beleive that? a 200 lap race comes down to the final lap to decide the winner, mouse only won by 1 second over mark!!! i wanted a league similar to NASCAR, and i did it.

everyone, go to www.tscups.com to get all the results to the race, including a full lap by lap profile of the race and the replay. make sure to watch the replay, especialy the end, it was a great battle between mark and i for the win (1.0.5 had a fast forward feature to skip through parts of races) oh yes, here are the points standings for the season.

1st - Mouse ------------ 100 pts
2nd - Mark Burnett---- 90 pts
3rd - [SF]Jazzyclub--- 64 pts
4th - [nS]Sativa------- 35 pts
5th - fasteddie 399---- 30 pts

i did issue a new rule before the race, if you finish a cirten amount of laps behind (depends on track) you only get 80% of points. this race was 25 laps behind. everyone did agree to this rule befre the race, and now it is official. we will see what happens next week as the season heat up!

Try going into the game into the recording section, i cant watch it either if i just click on the file in the video folder, it says require cars not found (or something like that) so if you go into the game itself maybe you'll have more luck
