I don't know if i will be in the top18 tomorrow, but I will not race anyway.
As I experienced during last race, I'm still slighlty lagging on every server and I also have no fun on this track.
I don't mean it is a bad track, I only don't like it with F1 car.
One more chance for reirom to gain a spot for the main race.

This is for me too. My english is not good enough to say something about that.I hope everything is alright with Janne and his family.
About the race, my opinion is that if someone officially retire himself before the race, he has not to be counted to define first 18.

Huh do they get out and 19 and 20 count as top 18? Or just extra spots for rookie race... Seems last option since Matic is in rookie race and he is 19th spot

I had bad luck at the start, i ended in wall (not your fault Reirom, I saw it 10 times now, it's all ok, I took outside line, and I touched you, game physics did the rest
)
I was bit upset about that during the race, but all ok now when I realised it was maybe even my own fault

rookie race went well... was too slow to challenge top3 but had enought reliable car and without any big misstake --> 4th place...
qualifying for prorace went as I expected (18-20. pos) -> 20th with pretty much fuel... but when race started, the game went unplayable.. no lag but fps went about 1-2.. tried few laps if it would end, but it wouldnt and so i had to drive aside and broke off the race first time. Its a little bit shame and frustrating after all I got last spot for the prorace :'<. lets grab a beer.

I'm very pissed. I did a nice qualy and had a nice start, passing Mike Nike and other players on the first lap. I was 3rd before my whole internet went apeshit , having just passed Pablinho, and then I lost a zillion positions due to lag. 4 major warps killed my race.
That's not the server's fault, that's because my father watched football on his computer and we have shared connection. That's very frustrating because I know I deserved to be at least on top 5 if not top 3, especially without Janne, Silcir and Badeend playing. I guess there's nothing I can do. I wonder if I will ever be able to have a 100% clean race. Losing 9 positions is enough to make anyone mad. Everything was right. The qualy, the start, the amount of fuel. Hmm had a good plan, but at least 2 guys with the same amount of fuel ended 5-6 places ahead of me, so that was bad. One of them was Pingu, my main rival, who was already very fast (and surprisingly so!) in Weekly Wank.
Started 18th, could've been a bit better.
Race
First stint there was a lot of roughing in the back, so I just tried to stay alive in the midst of that chaos. Everyone was bumping and so I decided to play 'not that fair' as well, so I would not lose ANY more time (than I already had with the somewhat bad qualification).
At the end of my quite a long 1st stint I was stuck behind batjunior, who would just block and block and block and block every single time I came close to him and didn't give me ANY room. I passed him a couple of times, but couldn't hold the position either for long. So eventually after fighting with him for like 10-15 laps, I was running low on fuel and that meant a pitstop was due.
Pit went well, took 1% more than I wanted (it's always difficult to get the EXACT amount!), I think I was quite alone there, or maybe another driver too.. anyway, no bumping or issues there, everything was smooth.
When I exited the pits and drove for a couple of laps I found myself 11th and amazingly enough I saw that I had passed batjunior and somehow had a very good gap to my advantage (don't know any numbers, but it felt like a couple of corners). So that was my haha moment.
Anyway, continued on with less fuel now and a bit of pain in hand/fingers.. I know when I finished designing the track - it almost immediately occurred to me that this track wouldn't have any places to 'rest', no long staights, nothing - you always had to work and turn and brake etc. So I don't know, it affected me in a way similar to what REIROM has spoken here, but hey.. it's all good, 'the rules am for all!'
After a while I gained some positions while others pitted I think (or made mistakes, I don't know..) and found myself 8th. My teammate matic was driving behind me for a couple of laps but then he disappeared. In the very end I found kapa112 in front of me, which was very heartwarming - seeing another rl in pro race and beating me

interesting race chaos again
after 5 days of fixing my pc (still not totally fixed, i use a ps2 keyboard and a mouse which is ehm..20 years old or something..because i cant use usb anymore), i managed to show up with the necessary settings to play tsliders..but my monitors left side is a bit strange blue-ed - maybe its getting old
in addition the monitor if flickering more than usual
my first runs on the server felt like driving a new car on a new track after 2 months of pause - quite sucky
test race 25min33 was quite bad too, many mistakes, no serious idea of good lines in 4-5 curves
qualification, i thought, 39.06 with 51% fuel was ok
but in start i let myself push by pom and drove too friendly, maybe...starting to drive a line to not get pushed from behind and short later pingu crossed my line (i hoped he wouldnt go inside :S) resulting in me pushing pingu (sorry for that i think, i shouldnt have expected that you do not try to overtake me there)...and resulting in kapa getting behind me, touching me and i felt back a few places again...
ended up at place 12 :S - quite horrible mess there with little pushes etc.
all in all, lost about 4, maybe 5 seconds to pablinho, but caught him up to about 1 sec behind, after 21 laps, still positive about catching him, even he drove 22 laps in first stint.
but, lol, 1-3 laps after, an insect flew onto my screen (mg) and i drove into sand while trying to blow it away..1st 0.6 sec lost...and many more lost time to come..the weird thing is..i blew it away during the race a few times and it came back each time...but after race ended, it did not come back again tsc tsc ..maybe due to black screen background of chat
weirdest moment probably was, when the insect was moving slowly right on my car in the straight, so it fully covered my car and i was just smiling and saying something funny about the situation to myself^^
either way, pablinho seemed to practice and drive relative fast constant, good race there - that insect cost me quite a bit, but im not sure if i could have managed to pass pablinho in 2nd stint anyway
on the other hand, losing so much time on the first stint (4-5 sec) was a crucial key to mess up chances to place 3 :S
all in all, losing 8 places due to high fuel in start sucks - i think i wont drive with so high fuel anymore and/or just defend my place so much and on that way, that i dont let myself kick offroad too much..

Pom you would of never got top 3 maybe around my spot yeah... You had way less fuel then mike and pablinho and me too. So after you pit they run faster laps and also have to refuel less....also you were behind me after i pitted with like 3 sec difference, but yeah then your lag started. Top 4 total out of reach lol..
