by the way, could it be a nice idea to have a race-total-time as qualification instead? or a mixed thingy of top 9 best laptime, top 9 best 8-lap-total-time?
dont get me wrong, i like it how it is, dede and the luvball team doing a great job...
just wondering about other opinions
probably i just miss something like the ptx xmas cup thingy back then, where razzle and goodyear were high in the rankings too in race total time (6 laps car default track default)
but messing up an 8 lap race in lap 7 or 8 might suck^^ - but this might keep people on the server quite a while longer in order to qualify
startorder by last race winner
advantage: if there were people so far who qualified to races because they are good in lapwanking but are not constant fast drivers lose their place to those who are actually fast and constant
id personally probably still prefer the qualify by laptime though^^..but what about others?

Never change a winning team.
Look how much new players the lap wanking formula generated. It is very succesfull and fair. With pro race spots to win in the rookie race we have 2 races that are interesting for eveyone. I think there are not many ways to archieve something like that with other rules. I think we should leave it as it is, since it is imo great.

Come on, atleast drive it if you are top 18 or the rookie, its a cool race. Dont dissapoint rsmlux2 wrote:Maybe today I will be out of top18, but if not, I have to say that I will skip again the race.
I lost my fun for the race. Things are going too serious, fairplay is lost, rain tracks are dryand antisliding cars definitely kill my fun.
Waiting for next WW.
Did only qualify on Monday cause i thought i was going to be to late for race today, but i made it in time. Qualified in 7th position and went to 3th during first lap, without pushing i think
. Took it easy, just trying to make no mistake, and that went ok till we started lapping people. Lost some concentration and had to let someone pass in 18th round
.
In pro race i just wasnt concentrated enough, started being lapped after 15 rounds or so and then it's very hard to be consistent. You look more backwards then ahead, have to let people pass, you dont know who is lapping you or is in the same lap.
Respect to those that can put the hammer down 39 rounds in a row
Next week i will be in pro race after qualify

Training went very well,
Warm up with fuel was going very good, all sessions in top 3 I think (track possition) and top 7 laptime wise.
Qualifing was also going great with a 4e place with low fuel.
My plan was to get a quick first stint and try to stay reasonable close to the leaders, but more important, create a gap with everyone behind me. 2nd stint would then put me in clean air to do the same, so I could have a reasonable safe longer 3e stint with a bit more fuel.
Well, that plan was working out fine with me on 3e place after a bit of a strugle with Mike Nike, I knew he would pass me eventualy so I didn't gave up my spot to him inmediatly because that would probably cost me more spots because of the people behind Mike were close. (Sorry for the touching Mike). And then I let Mike pass me and I started to make mistake after mistake. I hoped things would get better but I couldnt even get 2 corners in a row right. So people behind me were faster and I couldnt hold any of them off me. In the process someone hit a pole inside corner 4. Realy am sorry about that. (It was a grey car I think)
Then after my pitstop I hoped that, driving in clean air, I would get my act together and drive some good laps. But noooo, I kept f*** up, and touched and slide on every curbstone the track has to offer. This ofc was pissing me off even more, so that didn't help either. After 2nd stop I was just trying to keep the car on track, cause because of the skids I didnt see any curb anymore.
Conclusion:
This was my worst race ever, and I had such high expactations, because of the speed I had the entire evening and week. I am realy sorry for the people that became a victom of my wrongly judged overtakes and I take full responsibility for that.
I am also sorry for my team for this disapointing result, and I am also sorry for my English teacher because of the crappy spelling in this post.
Congratulations to all who had a good race, and I hope I will be doing a better and more fair job next week.

Grrr! I wrote a lot of comments but I closed the browser by mistake.. now in short version:
Warm Up -> low fuel trying to obtain first row in qualify, although I usually prefer to drive with the same amount of fuel I'd use in qualify
Qualify -> I crashed in first lap so the warmup tactic was useless. I thought 40.7 would've been pole position, but Tijny drove 40.6 already so I decided to stop when I got 40.8
Race -> Great start, I overtook Tijny in first lap, I pushed a lot and I gained a good gap. Perfect first stint, even though I started making small mistakes in last part of it. Pit was good, Tijny didn't gain anything by driving one more lap than me. Second stint was very bad at the beginning, I lost a lot of my gap. I was lucky with lag, since it pushed my car right where the curves were for two times. In last part of the race I finally recovered my pace and I drove to the victory without big problems.
Team -> Thanks to Jurgen, Jaykoq, Pom & Hangman! We're leading constructors championship with a good margin now. Let's keep pushing for the title in next races!
