Grand Prix Online Racing

I am happy to announce that the GPOR Server is now up and running! The Default Setup now is all Antislider on default tracks, but this server will be used for these following events mainly:

- NASCAR Cup and Modified Series Racing
- European-American Formula 1 Season (soon)
- TS World Championships (coming 2006)
- Punaball and/or Hockey Tornaments
- X-Bowl Tornaments
- World Rally Championships (coming 2006)
- Other special Endurance races and events

I and BluT have been at work planning these events for a while now, we are excited and hope you all will participate!

I was just about to ask, if this server is by you, Mouse, or by BluT...
But i have gone watching the IP, which shows 66.139.77.232 with port 6653.

So, this servers is a JGG sponsored server, located in US, right?

This would mean: this would be more or less the first JGG sponsored running TS server (in that case: mostly used as tournament server)? And where GPOR Mouse and BluT have got adminrights.

Is there anything JGG told you about that server which we may know?
And am i wrong in something what i am writing here or is all sounding correct to you?

Correct Mike, JGG hosted and in the US. I and BluT are the Admins of it, as we both will be running the Formula 1 League and Rally League next year. and Jazzy, we would like to use your cars in the Rally events, though new tracks will be made by me, quick explanation of how the rally league will work - Server goes up and stays up for about 6 hours, anyone can come in and try to make the best lap. Best lap wins the event. Tracks will be very large, and making numerous laps on it will only count as 1 lap, as a high lap time (5 min or so) will make it "Rally".

Also, i should really thank Ande for giving me this server, it helps me and BluT very much in our league events. Also thank you Jani and Road, for giving me the info on this in the first place!

sure you can use my old cars, but i think are huge and someone can dislike it.
for a better popular rallye league i can made a new types of rallye cars because the old are 64x64 pixel "enormous" now with my little experience on 3d studio max i can make new car 48x48 pixel

Mouse, what about letting your nascar tracks /cars running on the server?

There are already many servers with default tracks / cars

Yes Road, i will be changing this very soon. I am planning on making it contain TSB F1 1.0 tracks and AntisliderF1 (Anti Controlls, F1 Image and sound). NASCAR Practise sessions will be at 17 GMT sundays (1 hour before the race).
