Sporting Regulations:

1. Warm up:

1.1. 8 Laps (Brands Hatch Indy 12 Laps)
1.2. Fuel off - Tires on - Ghost off

2. Qualifying:

2.1. splitted into Q1 and Q2
2.2. 5 Laps
2.3. half of the Drivers participating can qualify into Q2
2.4. Drivers who didn't qualified for Q2 have to pull to Pits
2.5. if the number of participants is odd the amount of Drivers able to qualify for Q2 is rounded down
2.6. back of the Grid penalty for Drivers who complete a Lap or didn't pulled to Pits although they failed to get into Q2
2.7. cutting corners to get faster Lap Times is forbidden and will be punished
2.8. Fuel off - Tires off - Ghost on

3. Race:

3.1. 8 races - 1 drop
3.2. all races count for statistics
3.3. race lasts about 20 minutes - Laps depends on Track length
3.4. 1 Pit stop is duty - only Tire stops
3.5. no refueling - hold down fire key to avoid getting 1-2% of Fuel during a stop

4. Teams:

4.1. 3 factory Teams available - Audi-BMW-Mercedes
4.2. the Teams are free for all
4.3. a maximum of 8 players for each Team
4.4. the 3 best positioned Drivers from a Team count for standings, as long as they reach the points
4.5. changing Brand after first points race not allowed

5-6. Racing:

5.1. fair contact allowed
5.2. stealing speed from faster cars not allowed
5.3. blocking not allowed
5.4. always leave space for others
5.5. if the overtake is dirty give the position back
5.5. fighting with Leaders if lapped not allowed
5.7. parking on Track not allowed
5.8. driving backwards not allowed
5.9. don't write/talk during Warm up - Qualifications - Race
6.0. don't cross the white lines leaving pits
6.1. respect the limits of the Track
6.2. don't try to avoid the pitlane speed limiter
6.3. leave pits on the provided path
6.4. the racing should take place between the 2 white lines, including Kerbs

7. Race Control:

7.1. controversial situations have to be reported within 24 hours
7.2. the message should be followed by an exact explanation
7.3. penalty's which may be awarded start from an addition of 5-10-20 seconds to the total race time
7.4. heavy misbehavior can lead to the exclusion of the competition

in reality there is team and manufacturers championship! but i decided to include only the manufacturers championship! so we fight for the PTM-Champion and the PTM-Brands-Champion!

The Zandvoort race track dates back to the 1930s. On 3 June 1939, an international competition for race cars was organized for the first time in Dutch history. This involved a course through the streets of Zandvoort.

During the period 1940 -1945 the plans for a permanent race track on the northern side of Zandvoort became more and more concrete, and in 1946 the construction of the circuit, which was partly formed by the natural slopes on the dunes, was definitively started.

On 7 August 1948, the first race was held on the new permanent Zandvoort circuit. Soon more races followed on the course, with the first official Formula 1 Grand Prix becoming a milestone in 1952. Up until the mid-eighties, heroes like Alberto Ascari, Juan Manuel Fangio, Stirling Moss, Graham Hill, Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart, James Hunt, Nelson Piquet and Alain Prost braved the challenging course in the Dutch dunes and won at Zandvoort.

After the Grand Prix of 1985, the Formula 1 left Zandvoort, but the seaside resort and its impressive race track were not forgotten. Many years after the last Grand Prix, the ‘racing drivers of the day’ still talk about their experience on the race track where the challenging corners ‘separated the men from the boys’.

In 1990, the Zandvoort race track proved to be an international attraction even without the Formula 1. Under the ‘Masters of Formula 3’ title, the world’s fastest Formula 3 racing drivers came to Zandvoort to battle it out to determine the best Formula 3 racing driver.

The first edition, which was won by David Coulthard, is still looked back on as a perfect premiere. From that moment on, the Masters of Formula 3 became one of the annual highlights on the Zandvoort racing calendar. The weekend is also closely watched by virtually every Formula 1 team manager, on the lookout for new, talented race car drivers.

In 2001, Circuit Park Zandvoort reached its next milestone: the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters), the leading international touring car championship held in Europe came to Zandvoort.

The combination of competitive touring car exhilaration, the exciting circuit layout and the location of Zandvoort as a tourist attraction turned out to be a bull’s eye.

Since 2001, the race at Zandvoort has been a staple of the DTM calendar and is still the most popular race outside of Germany. The DTM’s success at Zandvoort did not go unnoticed. In 2006, the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport arrived to challenge the race track on the North Sea coast. The event was a huge success. With more than 120,000 visitors over the course of the weekend, it was one of the most successful motor sport events in the Netherlands, to the delight of both the A1GP organization and Circuit Park Zandvoort.

In 2007, the FIA World Touring Car Championship also followed with two spectacular rounds of tin-top racing, supported by other national race series.

Now, in 2012, Circuit Park Zandvoort is a popular circuit among both teams and racing drivers. The friendly, incomparable Zandvoort hospitality and the unique atmosphere make Zandvoort a much sought-after course for international race series.

People who use BMW-s have a very peculiar reputation over here, so no. Mercedes - considering I drive a 1992 opel Astra that cost 400 euros myself... yeah I will take the audi thank you very much.
