T not seriously attacking my rec yet is a good thing though - i'd probably end up trying to get it back and prepare for the race instead of using the motivation acceleration to program stuff. Missed to mention: probably lost up to 3 sec in last laps (after T overtook me) to save fuel -.-

Oh well...kinda feels bad to lose like that. Preparing a strategy (almost 2 weeks before the race), getting crazy internet problems, fixing them right before the race, telling the opponents the "good strategy" and choosing the losing one. I would have given the same advice though "1 or 2 stops" - was already typing, i think. But T saying it, kinda put the idea into my head that there is a good balance between those 2.
A yammy pole, a bit of a "T beating" pace in the beginning - what i want more? And still ending up 3rd. Again :E ..doh

I doubt the 2nd big traffic, including a crash/damage into the car being lapped, would have saved me the 2nd place.
But it would have given T maybe 1-2 laps more headache.

If you want to see how to lose 16 positions (4-->20) in one lap then just check my first lap. I really don't know why I suck so much in races, my race time was 58 seconds worse than my local practice time. Maybe someone could give a few tips? Btw I was 6th when the first start was terminated.

I had no pace on that track, even I liked it pretty much. It was the first time I was forced to use predictive camera - quite a painful experience. But hey, +3 positions is still a good result.

If 9 out of 10 races count, then:

If Bade and Tijny finish top3 in last both races, then:

Bade has to be in front of Tijny in both races in order to win the championship.
If i (or magicly someone else) would win both races and B gets 2nd, Tijny 3rd, then it's a split.
If i magicly win both races and B gets 20th place in both races, 2nd season place is split ahuaheuaheuhae

But i will, as usual, tell my practice race results (with a 2 stopper non eco driving style), if anyone asks me for startfuel etc. before the race. Unless one of you asks me to not do that within the next few days.

I wouldn't want anything else. You've had so much bad luck and so many near misses, you deserve at least one victory.


On a different note, I had some concerns about next week's track and how easy it was to crash on it, so I updated it to have more space between the obstacles and the road, while still keeping cutting possibilities low. So, everyone who drove a qualifying lap before this post will have their times invalidated. I don't expect this to be a problem, because I don't think anyone had reached their limit yet.

Oh wow, what a noob line I had through the first turn!

And about the lap number, I'm inclined to believe the competition page. I don't expect the winner's average laptime to be faster than 1:07, so that would make 54 laps closer to the 1-hour mark.

Congrats T! Very solid race and a consistently high pace. It was quite frustrating to see the gap grow while I was driving on my limit

1st corner I bumped into Mike twice. First on my own and then after Whip bumped into me. Luckily it didn't cause much (1%?) damage to Mike. Doesn't even show up in damage report. I was thinking that incident during the race and was hoping that I didn't ruin his whole race. I usually try to take first lap very carefully but after last week's fiasko maybe I tried to be more aggressive.

Maybe blocked Silva on 5th lap in first corner but honestly I was just driving my normal driving line there. I hope that didn't cause bad feelings.

Was not much battles during the race. Pretty close with Whiplash then at first pitstop my finger slips and I have to re-change tyres and Whip gets past me. He then drives faster than me many laps but has a warp at some point and I get to 5th place. I also had about half a dozen lags which is very rare. I was afraid that I get disconnected or something but luckily not.

This week I had a lot of time to practice and also Jurgen didn't show up to race for some reason, so 5th place with some help from others. Next week back to normal schedule and probably out of top-10.

Dynamic Standings

I practiced for this race a fair bit more than I did in previous weeks because I felt that I needed it to compete with Badeend, and it paid off in the end. Maybe a bit too well, because we didn't have any battles apart from the battle of laptimes. But that was pretty much my strategy, I wanted to put pressure on the others from the start, because previous weeks have shown that once B finds his rhythm, he's extremely difficult to beat. He even broke power79's stats with his sick non-existent offroad time, well flippin' done!

Blah, the last race was promising a lot of fun - but I managed to ruin it all. I smacked power79 in first turn with Bruno style. The thing is, I lost concentration totally and somehow thinking I'm still in wanking mode. That's why I attacked the corner so aggressively and immediately thought: "Oh, f***, we're racing". But, luckily, the car was still drivable.
I had surprisingly good pace after the first stop compared to power79 and Jormelion - but then I lost control over my car the same way I did in test race. There was no any lag/warp/disconnection indication, which leads me to think it's caused by a background application (I forgot to turn it of this time).
All in all, it was nice to see some new names in Division 1.
