overtaking really doesnt have anything to do then being faster in laptime then your opponent its how you said in your previous post about finding the right time to overtake: finding a good line, give it a look, give it a go go go,
anywayz i got a little bothered when you started to say difference in Laptimes .... you need about this much faster then your opponent to be able to overtake him,
It just aint true in my view, for example:
2 people having a fight the one in front accidently takes the corner a little wider as ussual and the 1 behind has time to react and puts his car like that so he will side to side at least with his opponent,
And eventually he could take the spot with accelration speed or the next turn.

And taking 1 corner a little wider wont hurt your time so bad immediatly so it reaches 1-2-5 sec difference in laptimes.
I am sorry I cannot find the article to link to...but have you not seen famous scenes from monaco grand prix's where people on intermediate tyres manage to succesfully block those on slicks in bone dry conditions, or indeed the famous battle between ayrton senna and nigel mansell where nigel was over 2-3 seconds faster per lap than ayrton, yet could find no way past.

Real life F1 drivers rarely make mistakes. You obviously did not understand me properly....

how can you be 2-3 seconds faster then your rival in front of you when he blocks the way the laptimes will result some equality then won`t it ?

Only surprise that includes you and this cup, is the fact that you would actually be allowed to take part in the cup.

But maybe that has been your plan all along. You'll trashtalk yourself out of the cup and that way save yourself from the humiliation on the track.

I have done a bit of speed reading though this thread... some of you people take this stuff way to serious, TS is an amazing and fun game, but it's still a game...

Take my name off the list, unfortunately I'm a type of person who is easily frustrated by others and I cannot see playing with some of these kids going so well.

Mouse, before unjoining, i'd wait to let reirom have a test race.
in gpor server he is getting plenty of lags and it wouldnt make sense for him to play in the league - im not sure if he will have same problems on the server we are going to drive, when the cup is held..

I hope you won't let this Steven Hill guy run on the cup. He doesn't give a f*** if you're at a freankin' jumbo speed, he will block you everytime to the point of madness. I made my point clear and asked him politely to stop blocking me but he doesn't care and blames me in return. Once he even blocked me when he was out of gas and told he that was because he was "frustrated".

I really hope this kind of blocking won't be allowed because it makes me wanna kill someone. :P

Jurgen,

I know Reirom for like 10 years now. He's a 34yrs old man with a 14yrs old mind. Very needy and hungry for recognition. He's a great guy once you get to know him well but also very competitive and attention seeking.

He behaves well on the Gpor server. He's just arrogant here because he's amused by the competitive nature of the game, I guess. :P

PS: I got some nice top 5's on Gpor. I'm starting to like this car a lot!

After trying out racing the 2008 F1 cars on F1 tracks from the last F1 league, I have to say I disagree with you dede. The laptimes are at most 2 seconds off that of the TSE-F1 beta, but the racing is far more enjoyable, as less mistakes are made and if they are they are recoverable... Also overtaking takes a lot more skill, as it is very easy to overshoot a corner. It is also because of this alot easier to go round the outside, something which is very satisfying.

However, I suppose I better start practicing with the TSE-F1 beta for the league xD Otherwise I will be so far behind there will be no point...
