That was one of the best tracks somebody ever designed for F1! Nice work Etmil!
Race was disaster. Man, I just realized that E% has big influence on speed. Seems 1 stop totally bad solution. That's not good if you're a bored with calculations.
Btw, I thought that pre-qualy is some worm-up shit for qualy. That was weird...racing a qualy on the track where you didn't get even 1-2 laps to see the curves. Why didn't you use ordinary qualy to eliminate slowest drivers??? Seems 1 qualy session just to waste our time.

Great track, but I've had more enjoyable races. The pre-race mumbo-jumbo took very long and I almost messed up my tragedy by putting 5% too little fuel at my last pitstop. Had to stop again but still won, with a little help from a lapped dude who beefed dede. :P Although I probably would've held out until the finish anyway, in part because I had fresher tyres.

I struggled a bit with connection but everything went well this time. I need to search for a solution though, the same old problems are still here. Not good.

Race was nice, unluckily I made some mistakes at the beginning and I needed to give room to many players. Track was hard to learn, so I turned on predictive cam. It felt very weird driving with it, but I had no other chances. I tried to turn it off during qualify but I ended up being 2sec/lap slower, so I switched it on again.

I'm satisfied with my result, although at the end of the race I felt like I could put pressure on Tijny. Kuningas destroyed my dream {not completely his fault, but I needed to go through him as soon as possible}, but I'm pretty sure Tijny would've won anyway.

Thanks for those who joined, I hope to meet more people in next races.

Whats that table all about?

Was a good race, dont think i could have done much better. Also the track was nice many corners had a good flow.
. That was weird...racing a qualy on the track where you didn't get even 1-2 laps to see the curves. Why didn't you use ordinary qualy to eliminate slowest drivers???
Isnt that exactly the same. After 10 laps the top 20 will almoust always be the 20 quicker drivers. Probably wont be much difference if you do 10 laps warmup and then how many laps qualy? Probably the result will be (almoust) the same.

Well, that's exactly the point. Why to have 2 qualy instead of 1 if the result will be the same? It was just wasting the time.
Probably you didn't understand me as always. :P We had pre-qualy for nothing. dede could eliminate the slowest drivers after the ordinary qualy. So, pre-qualy isn't necessary. It just wastes our time.

Yeah, probably script couldn't work like that. Cause it couldn't set up 20 best times of both servers automatically to one and starting grid for all of those players.

:D probably you did not understand pingu...

He was talking about fuel strategy.
A slow driver will do quali with low fuel to be sure to be in top 20.
A mid grid player could do quali with his "strategic" fuel but... He will risk to be kicked out by the slower driver.

Since I'll play only the IHLC style prequali, I'm happy with them.

As long as we'll have more than 20 players, pre-quali will be necessary. Warmup can't be removed because of fuel testing, quali needs to be there as well. If you got any better suggestion, I'm all ears. However I don't see why pre-quali should be a problem now, it was the same in last season.

by the way, what about the idea to basicly let everyone play...if under 40 players...
example...

21 players, 2 servers prequali...
prorace will be 15 players, rookierace 6 players (or 16, 5 if 5 is minimum for rookierace)

players, prorace, rookierace
20, 20, 0
21, 15, 6 (or 21, 16, 5)
22, 15, 7 (or 22, 16, 6)
..
30, 15, 15 (or 30,16,14)
31, 16, 15 ..
32, 16, 16 ..
33, 17, 16
34, 17, 17
..
39, 20, 19
40, 20, 20

After looking at my race again.. in the beginning I was in TOTAL contention for a good finish. But there were 2-3 occasions where I lost most time in 1st stint..
1) bumping into dede when going into the twisty section in the SE part of the circuit after his patetic sand-moment, I believe..
2) overtaking a bit later on into turns 1-2 and then not being sure whether I had ruoghed him or not. just in case, I let him (and dede) pass again.. should I have? I don't know. I'm always a bit too nice when it comes to that..
3) further into the race, coming out of the final corner with TOTAL good speed, then slipstreaming Pingu and some other dudes, going to the very edge of the track and then for the weirdest of reasons turning right onto the sand, losing maybe 3-4 positions there. It wasn't even lag, just a sudden loss of concentration due to the surprise of being able to get 2nd/3rd position. Or whatever - a slip of a finger..

After that I ended up 7th or something and that is where I finished as well :(

The phuck is your problem with me? I don't need to explain myself to you after every race. For christ's sakes...

:) Matic, the fuel is always copied from the end of qualifications. So, it doesn't matter what lap you made rec in.
But, I wouldn't be surprised to see T cheating around anyway. :P Last time he made secret deal with Kuningas.

well, matic was sure right with some roughness by tijny in 2nd testrace.
in the season i would do a complain, in testraces im fine with just talkin about what would be an appropriate punishment.

anyway, i saw too that tijny had his fastest lap in lap 5, but i thought it was 57p actually, not 67...and that he drove a 93s lap in lap 6 to start with just 53p fuel. considering that the chance to defend vs a 25-30%fuel-starter is easier with 53p than with 57p, this would be one possible thing tijny could have considered when doing that.
by the way, sick 2nd stint pace by tijny...
the last 4 races i did right after the races, i kinda beat 1st place racetotaltime usually by 3 seconds or more. i also did 52.3 laps with more than 70p fuel, 52.0 with 58p..but consistent 52.0-52.5ish in lap 2-7 starting with 38p fuel...bah...a bit demotivating.

Maybe, but that's not the point: my problem was with the fact that he would specifically re-watch my whole race just to look for things I did wrong, two weeks in a row... unless he does that for all 19 others too, then I didn't say a thing.

Well, I admit that I'm paying him for that. The only way to beat you this season is to disqualify you for some reason.

I don't have time for training and I don't even have time for watching your race.. Crap!
