Race date could be changed to tuesday or thursday, noticed that the wednesday is Champions League day. Edit: Champions League on tuesday, Uefa Cup on thursday. So we keep wednesday as a race day then.
Champions League is on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Kepp i have a problem with Wednesdays, not because of champions league but because of private lessons. I have lessons from 6:30pm till 8:30 pm (MALTA TIME)

At what time you are planning to race on Wednesdays? Why dont we make all races on Sundays. Sundays seems a good day for racing for almont many drivers i know.

Sundays are currently taken by the international antislider league by mouse. It would be a mess setting up another league at Sundays.

Our engineers has been made research work on our F1 car. The new car is 22 pixels wide (former 25 pixels), 650 kg weight (former 1000 kg), and engine sounds like F1. Less width makes car to have a bit less grip, but makes it also faster by weight drop.

Download the car from here! http://www.saunalahti.fi/pekkakem/k-F1_v711.rar

We have finally finished the negotiations of me joining the Beefington Pint Racing. The exact terms of the deal will remain undisclosed but team dp will receive a reasonable compensation.

Ahoy! First two races has been a kind of fiasco because some players missed again the race. More players wanted.

If we'd start later then someones is going to miss their football matches and wednesday seems to be the only suitable day for racing, sunday would be natural choice but there is antileague running at the moment for that day. The year 2008 races will be held on sundays.

Here is video of Monterrey GP, first lap is missed
http://www.saunalahti.fi/pekkakem/k-Monterrey281107.tsr

Comments: What an incredible final lap. I thought Mike must run out of fuel, he just cannot be that quick. So unfortunelly he ran out of fuel on the final lap, just a few corners too early to finish line.

Heh..yeah..that was a funny race :)
In the early stage of the race i accidently crash in front of my teammate swos..but i knew swos had to leave the race earlier and consequently i didn't let him pass (it would have meant to let keppana and maybe some other car too = bad for the team).
Later i had a nice fight with Keppana, but crashed way too often...somehow though i managed to get the lead back and had to drive a couple of fast laps to gain enough lead to stop for my 2nd time. I gained a good lead, but in the pits i crashed! ;( and instead of filling fuel, i had to get away from being stuck in the wall...accelerate to the pitzone, stop again..fill fuel and calculated a very tight fuel where i may not crash once to not run out of fuel to be as fast as possible and finish with 0% fuel...and go back to race - keppana won a good lead by that...
11 laps to go, i came back step by step, coming closer lap by lap..but in 3rd last lap or 4th last i made a mistake and the race seemed to be over...but then, suddenly from nowhere, keppana got stuck and i could overtake him...unfortunately, when entering the final lap with a decent lead, i saw my fuel at 2-3% (4% per lap needed)...as consequence i went out of fuel 6-7 sec before the end and we ended up having a funny and spectacular race :)

By the way: omg, hengari^^
You had less fuel once and i was fast to keep in lead many laps and let you pass twice, so i do not cost you any time...instead you make a mistake short after i let you pass^^

You should have just driven your own race. And what comes to mistakes.. the cars are a bit jumpy when near others :)

Anyways it was a sucky race. Probably lost the 3rd place due some petty revenge. On the second half of the race (laps 40-> or so) Swos got mad and took some revenge by pushing me far away to the grass. I admit that I pushed Swos two times when trying to overtake him and didn't let him pass. I would have let him pass but instead of sliding a little (which was the result of those pushes) he decided to curve to the grass. What the f*ck is with that.

And for next races, if you're one or more laps behind the driver in front of you, don't harass him by trying to drive through his rear bumper. Use the tab -button to see if you're being lapped and give some space.

Little fix to Gotland Ring track, now is not enough possible to make faster laps by shortcutting via pits. I noticed this when I made a quick stop and on the lead-out lap I made fastest lap.

http://www.saunalahti.fi/pekkakem/k-GotlandRingFix.rar

Here is also a piece of macro which you can place in macros.ini file:

Begin TSF1
/maxplayers 16
/laps 5
/order 4
/tracks /clear
/fixedcar 1
/cars /add "Keppana F1 v711"
/fuel 1 520 15 10 10
/set canchangestartfuel 1
/points 0 0
/pro 0
End

Gotland Ring race video http://www.saunalahti.fi/pekkakem/k-Got ... 121207.tsr

Comment: An interesting race at all, players did split in two groups on first laps. Good 4 players fight for 4th place on first laps and 3 players fight for on last laps. Congrats to Mike for his first victory.

Little changes to CC: Team can now have max 3 players and player must do at least 90% of race distance to gain points. New players and teams are still welcome to join :)

For an addition, new race time is 18 CET, so the wankers don't then miss Dede's cups.

Too bad. Thanks Keppana for organizing this cup, it was gg. The races were nice although there could have been more drivers. Maybe next season there will be more drivers and the races with TSB F1-tracks and no wet races :)

Congrats Mike and nice team victory for BPR.

Wet races were ugly and not much fun. And many race results were randomized by lags and warps ;(.
Etana somehow mastered the wet races - he was also the best driver in total in this cup, i think - but i could manage some nice performances in some races at least.

#1 Beefington 126 pts! ;D
Anyway the problems, it was worth participating :)

Mostly good races and hopefully Keppana hosts another one in future. My participating were quite "random" as I had couple times more important things to worry about. Though I don't deny that 2 or 3 races were missed completely because of my bad bad memory

About wet races, I think that most drivers just didn't completely get how it affected driving. Mike talked about brake using after second wet race (in first one too?), but he left little bit too early for my message. In my opinion key for fast driving at wet conditions was simply to use brake even more than in normal conditions.

In last race I had some problems to remember how that car was supposed to be driven, especially at qualify laps. Also I had much bad mistakes in actual race, but little better normal lap avg. speed probably saved me

Actually one thing I "love" in Keppanas F1 is demand for early brake use. Same car or close to it, new tracks and couple wet races for next season Keppana! Anyway thanks for this one as well.
