i am confused how points are given this is from the list i was just watching

8. GIGI 747 0 0 8
9. [FUN] Shyguy 665 0 2 8
10. [UR] Lirarn 661 0 2 8

as you can see they all drove 8 races
the 2 drivers with 2 podiums earned almost 100 points less then the driver who did not reach 1 podium in those 8 races.

im confused maybe there is something in the rules i missed but well yea id like some confirmation/explaining on the matter i just gave =)

i read them but still dont get it probably because of the part

General classification
Depending on the final place of each track classification, players earn an amount of points assigned as follows:
100 points to the first classificated
99 points to the second classificated
98 points to the third classificated
97 points to the forth classificated
96 points to the fifth classificated
95 points to the sixth classificated
94 points to the seventh classificated

does this go by total time you drive on a track does this go laptime you drive on a track. im not getting it

and btw stoden has a smallish bug 3th and 4th starting position are switched.

@jurgen: every track has a standing like this!

you are leader, that means you will get 100 points! in that case because you won first and only race that was on this track! 6 or 7 people played thats why you have 3 points! if you lead in all tracks you can get to 1900 points! (19 tracks) thats the maximum you can earn! clear?

also 1 more question do you recieve points for driving alone or +1 or do you need at least 1 opponent on the track

That's because he's playing with different player ID's. Use the same data/players.da2 file if you play from different PC's.

That's possible, because people can lose points by finishing in last positions. Probably that's what happened to Dide Dide.

i believe you should just click the link on the homepage here instead of directly connectiong to gpor... that should solve the problem i think???

my guess you connected to it by writing in the adressbar or had the page saved in favourites so you only opened the page that you saved from back then

still i dont get why you didnt receive the updates throug but at least its solved now
