SCARTS - Charlotte (Chase Race 4) - August 8th @ 21 GMT

[[FTR] Burnout]

Dore grows his points lead with a big win at Dover last week. This Tuesday, July 26th, SCARTS makes it's return trip to Talladega Superspeedway for our final drafting race of 2016. In our last Talladega race back in April, we found out as the race went along that the low line was the way to go in the race, and the race got very strung out and hard to pass. Well I went to work on Talladega this past week and hopefully have fixed the lane imbalance in time for our race this coming Tuesday. Solo laps in all three lanes seemed rather equal (upper lanes maybe a bit more consistently quick) - but once we put more cars on track in a drafting situation is where the unknown comes in whether it will still be faster to push in a line on the bottom (or on top for that matter).

So come and join us this Tuesday, July 26th for Talladega. I encourage those of you that haven't tried a drafting race yet to join us and give it a try. It's alot of fun like driving on the freeway in rush hour at 180 mph. Here is a video of our last race this past Spring to get an idea:

Hope to see some of you on Tuesday! 21 GMT!

RACE #19 @ TALLADEGA

[[FTR] Burnout]

SCARTS will run its first race on Version 2.60 of Turbo Sliders this Monday, August 8th at 21 GMT @ Charlotte Motor Speedway. Laf finally scored a SCARTS win at Talladega and looks to go two in a row this week. He did run 2nd at the first Charlotte race this year and looks to finally visit Victory Lane here.

As for the championship, Dore continues to hold a lead over Burnout, now down to a five point lead heading into Charlotte. This track has been kind to both competitors over the years and it may prove to be a pivotal race for Burnout to really eat into the points deficit.

I invite you all to compete in our first 2.6 race. See you on Monday!
