I totally agree with wazaari here...
And most of your posts contain no valuable information whatsoever, it's like you're just posting to get your post count up. I know forums where you'd get banned within a day with posting behaviour like this. :P

May i remind all registered players for race this evening.

Spectators are not allowed.

Rules:

01 - No backward driving.

02 - Drivers cannot enter pits from exit part.

03 - When entering pits drivers must re-fuel on the last empty box.
(Not to block the way for other drivers)

04 - Pushing cars from behind is striclty prohibited.

05 - Blocking cars which are going to lap you is striclty prohibited.

06 - Drivers must use their race name and the car they are assigned with.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rule 07 and 08 below MAY apply (it depends)

07 - Numerus Clausus - Maybe if we see that 13 cars are crowding the track too much, some drivers with the lowest lap times may be eliminated after qualifying session.

08 - If we see that some drivers have not achieved the required level for competing and are being lapped too much, next time a minimum lap time will be set for qualifing. Drivers not reaching the set lap time during qualifying may not race.

IF ANYONE NEEDS MORE EXPLANATION ON ANY OF THE RULES ABOVE PLEASE EMAIL ME

THE RACE WILL BE RECORDED AND REVIEWED AFTER.

GOOD LUCK

Race comments

Post by Mike Nike » Tue Aug 01, 2006 9:05 am

Just watched the replay...1-2 hours from nearly each driver's perspective...
taking care at details in special situations...feeling with some drivers^^
Best perspectives (good for some action) were: 1. wazaari 2. celta 3. mouse - these 3 drivers were involved in the most interesting fights.

Result:

1. Sicofonia
2. Wazaari
3. Mouse
4. Celta
5. Joseph
6. Jeffrey
7. Riccardo
8. wolf

Deserved places in my opinion:
1. Celta (had an unlucky crash while leading and got blocked by wazaari and wolf later..)
2. Wazaari (bad and unlucky start - got pushed out due to a little fault of Mouse and a rough first turn by wolf. Later he got blocked by Riccardo who came out of the pits; wazaari crashed though)
3. Sicofonia / Mouse
4. Sicofonia / Mouse
5. Joseph
6. Jeffrey / Riccardo
7. Jeffrey / Riccardo
8. wolf

1. Sicofonia: startplace 5 - good start, safe race, driving the lead home
- had a good start, came good around the first curve and after Celta crashed in the end of the first lap, he seemed to drive a relative safe race to the end and this saved him the first place.
Worst scene was maybe in the middle of lap 1 when he overtook Joseph - there he drove a bit too aggressive. It would have been fair if he would have let Joseph pass after this action.
Since Joseph seemed to be much slower anyway, this action did not really take serious consequences.

2. Wazaari: startplace 1 - bad and very unlucky start, unsafe race but happy end
- missed to accelerate as early as at least 4 drivers behind him...and lost the start to Sicofonia very soon. Due to Mouse braking too late, he got a push by Riccardo (lost 1-2 positions) and due to wolf not or only very late braking in the first U-turn he even got a 2nd push by Riccardo and found himself in last position.
From 1st to 8th he did not loose his motivation...and after 1 lap he found himself already back to the first places.
Unfortunately his 1st pitstop was very unlucky. In the entrance he slowed down, maybe trying to fill fuel as soon as possible, but soon he had to realize that he is blocking other people with that action: in this case he blocked Celta who came with full speed and drove right into the back of wazaari. Then, after wazaari filled a bit more than 90% fuel and Celta 2% less, Celta started and tried to pass wazaari in the pit. Unfortunately Celta drove tight into wazaari instead of passing him - so waazari, who maybe wanted to fill more fuel, was forced to decide quick: should i brake and fill more fuel or should i drive with fuel for 10 laps only (instead of 11)?
2 mistakes, 1 big one by wazaari and 1 average one by Celta, which should be avoided.
Many action in his race - i skipped to tell all - just watch his race in fast replay ;)

3. Mouse: startplace 3 - last after 1st lap but acceptable race and good result
Tried to drive safe in the start but maybe this was his mistake...
Last place in end of lap 1...but Mr. Endurance seemed to drive an acceptable race after this, not too risky... - very deciding scenes were around lap 31 +-1...there places 2, 3 and 4 were decided a bit..

4. Celta: startplace 2 - showed a fast race, lost 1st place by unlucky crash in end of lap 1, bad luck during the race, got blocked and finnished "only" 4th
Good start, good first U turn, had the lead and seemed to have the biggest chances to win the race. But then: the crash in the entrance of the pits in the end of lap 1. This smashed him back and he had to catch the leading drivers again. Later he crashed also into wazaari, for example, when wazaari crashed in front of him...
All in all: nice race by the fast brasilian - he would have deserved place 1, 2 or 3 at least. I am sure he will keep being under the best drivers in each race of this season.

5. Joseph: startplace 4 - quick start, lonely race to deserved place 5
Had maybe the fastest reaction in the start, his place 5 was deserved, nothing more, nothing less.

6. Jeffrey: startplace 7 - mr. fairplay, took much care about social driving, tight 6th place deserved
Jeffrey did not show very fast laps, but he showed how much he care about fairness.
From the beginning he drove very fair and social - faster cars behind in the same lap he let pass very soon and comfortable.
When he made a mistake he was not trying to keep his position by blocking another car, even if the car behind would have lost only a little part of a second.
Only once he accidently blocked a lapping car due to a little mistake he made a second ago.
Jeffrey had a good fight with Riccardo. The pitstop mistake by Riccardo in the end took a high influence in the duel between these drivers.

7. Riccardo: startplace 6 - similar laptimes to Jeffrey, blocking other cars a bit, filled not much enough fuel
Riccardo was the only driver with only 90% startfuel, but he accelerated relative late in the start, but won luckily a position after the 1st 180 turn.
After Celta crashed in end of lap 1, Riccardo gave him accidently a little speed boost by driving into the back of Celtas car.
In the middle of lap 2 Riccardo crashed, blocking 2 cars behind, including Mouse.
The worst scene he had in his 3rd pitstop. He only filled his fuel to ~50%, and when leaving the pit zone wazaari was driving right in the back of him.
Short after also Celta lost a bit time when trying to lap Riccardo.

8. wolf: startplace 8 - slowest driver in the field, lonely race, blocking accidently too often
wolf, as youngest driver, could not improve much and could by far not reach the 2nd last place. His aggressive or maybe unhelped first U-turn gave the chaos in the first turn the rest - he needs to take more attention in the next races, if he takes part, maybe. This was also visible, when cars tried to overlap him. wolf certainly showed a good meaning and tried to let them pass, but he still showed a lack of attention. In the future: if cars behind are going to overlap him, he should make space early enough.

What we saw and can learn?
- safety distance in the pits should be at least 1 box, maximal 2 boxes (minimal ~0,5 car length, maximal 2)
- braking earlier than normal in first turn might be necessary (wazaari drove fair and safe, but got punished by the traffic behind - from first to last place - unlucky and not really fair :S, even he did not start so fast)
- slower drivers like Riccardo and wolf have to take more attention to cars overlapping
- if a car crashs in front and is causing the crash of a car behind, it's fair to let him pass when he comes close enough again...(wazaari did it maybe, not sure anymore...celta or mouse perhaps)

A little poll: what you think about a flying start?
I mean: overtaking is not allowed in lap 1. Advantage: more space between the cars (no big chaos in curve 1); enough time for prediction correction in lap 1 (page up/down..)

To me:
i wasn't there because i was ill and slept from ~17-18 until 03-04 o clock.
I was not able to play, but skipped to tell anyone i do not feel so well.
The rest i tell Jeffrey in a mail...

Yes, something like F1 restarting when Safety Car goes in the pits.

Dede would complicate things.

Once i did the formation lap before the option sort by best lap came in.

It was a disaster!

MIKE NIKE GREAT JOB!!
