Shy's posts are way too long.
All I read was 'tyres'.

So here's my opinion.... DO NOT USE IT!

It barely works in SCARTS, and as lux said that the tyres will slow you down and the fuel will speed you up it makes no sense...
I mean, throwing 1 euro on the street and picking it up after that gets you the same result.

In SCARTS, there's hardly any strategy with tyres. We all just get 100%. The only strategy there is, is in the end. 15 laps before finish there's a yellow flag. Do you PIT or not?

tl;dr -> Stick with fuel, yay.

Only reason there is no strategy in SCART's is because of exactly what you said.. the obligatory YEL towards the end. In races where we had long runs to the finish (30 + laps), tyre strategy was very interesting. As you well know.

fuel racing is just awesome! i really like everthing about it, but the setting we used in previous one was a bit to boring! everbody except for silcir on a 1 stopper!

it was not bad but it could slightly be changed!
about tyres im pretty unsure, like dede mentioned its to much if we really go with unreleased tracks! it depends on cup style! if we can train with it, and of course find the right settings for the cup that brings that kind of strategy we want, then we could at least try it!

Sorry guys, I was late,

I joined the server at 19:30, and then realised that this may cause lag to someone, so I am very sorry if that happed. Dumb dumb dumb me.

I hope I didn't ruin somebody's race.

Next week I will be at the F3 masters in Zandvoort so I won't be able to race.

I hope to see you all the week after.

I could not attend. Had some things to do. It sucks because I think I had a decent chance of making a nice race and get 2nd or 3rd if Silcir played.

again some ass who drove bw! my race was shitty anyway, after getting the lead at start, due to pablinho sleeping, i crashed and lost the connection to leading group! keyboard issue made me crash 3times on the same part of the track! just annoying! so it made no difference that i had to park on the track to kick that idjiit! i only lost 1 position to Matic!

I had a keyboard issue which was solved by not using OpenGL. I use SDL now. Also, all my effects are turned off.

I don't know if it's the same issue.

I can clearly see that interest for F1 racing is not high. No one puts their times on lap times anymore. I think only F1 Season is going to make people interested again. Some people only feel interested when we have points and things like that.

I hope I'm wrong.

If I'm not wrong, there were like 40 people or something last season. I think people are losing interested because they think F1 Season is dead or something. We had Puschtras but I think most people want F1 Season, with fuel, pit stops and all that. In September is bound to happen, though. So I suppose Del is wrong about that.

I did 35.404, which I thought was a great time but I have a video by Mike Nike with a 34.897 time for Roaring. THAT'S f*** INSANE. That is all that I have to say. Really, this is scary stuff. That's a pretty huge difference.

I'm still available to help for videos, I just came back from holidays. I wouldn't like to make a test video though, no time really.

Shit qualy, shit race. Had lots of lags. Pablinho was really fast. Usually I could manage to be close to him but not today. He was really outstanding. I don't know how he managed to be so fast. I'm still amazed that anyone can go under 35.4.

Anyway, I guess this was the last fun race. Few people came around today.

I hope F1 season begins soon, so we can have a shitload of people battling to get to pro race and I can see REIROM never make it.

Don't forget were in the middle of the summer, people are on holidays or painting there house or something. I myself are normaly there every race, but am also to busy at work to put in the practice I want to be competitve.

I also think that the move to 19:00 CET is not helping aswell. It is just a bit to early. and since we moved to that time the decline in players started.

right, that rec was indeed quite sick (maybe one of my top3 or 5 in those f1 tracks with that car), a result of 1 lucky lap out of many laps with high risk (so, kinda forced luck then).
the lap was still improveable in some less parts by a little, but the chance to drive it is quite low...
tijny (and maybe dede too) kinda came close to it though and probably beat it..dont know

What do you need exactly?
I can try to start an autoserver with your specs or i can give scripts to you.

Due to a puppydog I can't play "seriously" (something like janne and the cat

) but I can easily start a server on an unused pc.

We can also do some race/event to try new f1-beta-cars and/or new-wet-terrain...
