Intro
Three cars, one track, one week. Drive against fastest TurboSliders players. Drive against your limits. Write the history!

1st Challenge
Deadline: Saturday 26 June 2010
Track: Isthmus
Cars: EasySlider, AntiSlider, TSB-F2
World Record (EasySlider): 15.540 by Tijny (7 June 2005)
World Record (AntiSlider): 14.735 by Mike Nike (22 October 2005)
World Record (TSB-F2): 13.504 by Nerd [Uk] (18 March 2009)

Nice, I'm loving this.

Can you add "car name" in the results after each race? Just to know what other people are doing.

And... what about to add TSB-F1 and F2? Many european players love them and many brazilians players could join this tournament.

EDIT: I see now that 1 week 1 fixed car.
IMHO this is worst than trial period. In this way, asking to add f1 and f2 has no sense.

For 1 week, I like it more if we all play with the same car yes

In some way, you are right.
But, if you want more players, I think this is not the good way.

I can play for an hour on the same track choosing different cars. But I can race only 3-4 if I had to use the same car on the same track... always!
When spinner or antislider weeks will come, I'll never show up.

So I'll play for a shorter time or I wont'play at all.
If other people will do something similar to me (some people hate slider as I hate antislider) the number of players on the server will be less than during the trial period.

Yeah but the fastest times woudn't say that much since people could have been trying the whole time with other cars :p. It's like you aren't watching the top of the top of the top times

i hope you wouldnt call it hate towards those cars

Im not really fund of the easyslider (for this week) myself.
I like the idea of having more cars but then it would be less of a competition and the more cars we have will show the people with high self esteem (like myself) at first something like 200 laps,
then a diffrent week with 1 car im not fund of ill drive 140 laps ect. ect.
untill i quit playing cars i find not worthy to spend time on :p

the way i look at it any changes there would be made would be a win-win lose - lose situation.

Ok, you are all right in a certain way. Driving all cars in a week could be too much, but driving just one car is boring. So every week we'll drive 3 cars, so we will have three rankings!

Oh I see you dont have the world record for

World Record (TSB-F2): ?

From reliable sources I just got the info that the World Record on this track with the TSBF2 car was set by some guy called REIROM, the time was 13,581

this idea was awesome, it's nice to see ppl levels, and statistic system is great. and yes i'm pecks, now i can't change nick because of the double nicks problem. so i'll keep pecks, things are going well anyway, maybe its a lucky nick

Found out the answer to that bug where the server couldn't decide which position I was in.

If you are tied with another player it will show either pos A or pos B at random apparently.

For example, at the moment me and dede have exactly the same time for TSB-F2. So in the server, sometimes I appear 5th, sometimes 6th.

However, this is nothing to worry about - in the official website rankings it is fine and is shown as follows:

Day 1 - History is written alraedy
After just one day of wanking, two records are fallen! Limits are there to be beaten, and infact Tijny set a new world record with EasySlider, beating his 5 years old record by 0.014s.
The TSB-F2 record was beaten too: Janne got under the 13.5 barrier with 13.482!
The AntiSlider record seems to be a little harder to beat, but Janne is only 0.013s slower than Mike Nike's 2005 laptime.
The first big surprise, after the two world records, is siLciR's position with AntiSlider: 14.774 is one of the best laps ever driven in this track. Hevonen's fifth place with AntiSlider is surprising too.
Excellent runs by Storm and iBlaze² with TSB-F2, fifth and seventh. Few hundredths off and podium might be reachable for them.
