Server:
LVP #2 - FULL CONTACT

Rules:
- All players will join the Full Contact server. If the server is full, they will join it as spectators (to join server as spectator, player just need to select no any player profile to play with).
- Players will be split to 2 equal groups (A and B) according to their overall ranking position.
- Top 7 players of both groups go directly to DIVISION 1, others go to DIVISION 2.
- DIVISION 2 cup will be driven first, which is another chance to be qualified in DIVISION 1. Top 6 players go to DIVISION 1. Game is over for players ranked 7th and lower.
- (Top 7 of group A) + (Top 7 of group B) + (Top 6 of DIVISION 2) = DIVISION 1 cup at the end.
(These numbers could change due to increased number of subscribed players.)

So, there will be 4 cups overall by this order:
(Cup of Group A > Cup of Group B > Division 2 cup > Division 1 cup).
One player can potentially play maximum 3 and minimum 2 of them.

Points system:
Inside of the server we'll have the standard point system that is used all the time (together with cup reversed start positions):

All the championship points will be given to players after the each event according to positions they achieved in it. This is the whole system:

So the DIVISION 1 players would get points like this:

Sources are listed by this order (in case of less than 30 players):
fcc-a (lists group A players)
fcc-a-dir-30 (gives directions to group A players)
fcc-b (lists group B players)
fcc-b-dir-30 (gives directions to group B players)
fcc-div2-30 (lists division 2 players)
fcc-div2-dir-30 (gives directions to division 2 players)
fcc-div1-30 (lists division 1 players)
fcc-div1-dir (gives directions to division 1 players)

If number of joined players is even lower or equal to 26, then just replace those 30 number with 26 in those source names where number exists. you can also replace it with number 34 in case of more players showed up.
fcc-a and fcc-b are the only sources that need to be updated by FTP. Those lists need to follow ranking overall order and groups expected from it.

Hey man, I'm very glad you're organizing the FC championship, I'm sure it will be great. I also think this could be a good time to promote the game via http://www.twitch.tv/. If you haven't heard of this site, it's a platform for hosting game streams, i'm viewing poker stuff there, but most of the streams are about video games. But since I'm not the kind of guy to be put in front of the microphone maybe someone else could do it. Shyguy perhaps?

Wait, wait. I've a couple of things to say.

1. Saturday evening is definitely the worst phase to do a championship. I think that would be waaay more comfortable to play it on Sunday in a time range from 18.00 to 21.00 CET. Maybe we could do a poll about it.

2. I think this is the best idea ever: since we're presumably more than twenty drivers, and, in any case, play in twenty is sooo confusionary, whatcha think 'bout two Divisions? In this way we could have relegations, so the drivers that are too far from the Title in the last races have the pressure of relegation and have something to play for. And we have 2nd Division for "amateurs" too, in which these drivers can grow up without any problems. So, if we are 26 for example, it should be 13 drivers in 1st Division and 13 drivers in 2nd Division (the way to establish it in the first season could be a drawn, in this case who's good should wait only a Season to go to the Top of the league with a bad drawn).

Tell me your opinions about that

If we get more than 20 players, I guess I'll find a way to make a fair qualification for top 20. Maybe we could use Hot Lap server for that? Best 20 of subscribed players who are in top of the ranking with AntiSlider could get advantage to play in the main group. The others would play a separated championship for amateurs. So, how about that?

Whip, your idea it's similar to mine (the one that i explaned few posts before yours), but I think it's way better have a correlation between the Divisions, with relegations like soccer. So who's at the bottom of the standing, should continue to play focus to avoid to play in 2nd Division and the best of 2nd Division have a chance to play with the best drivers of Full Contact.

Nothing too hard to organize, if we're 30, best 15 times of Record Hunting in 1st Division, the other 15 drivers in 2nd Division. 6 Cups, one every Sunday, with only best five will count. There will be a Champion, last three or four of 1st Division relegated to 2nd Division, a champ of 2nd Division that will go up to "Serie A" with 2nd, 3rd and maybe 4th of the Sub Division.

I can make that being 1st in Div2 race will give you less points than being 20th in Div1 race.
First 15 on the HL ranking will drive Div1 race directly. The others will drive Div2 race.
Div2 race will start before the Div1 race. First 5 players of Div2 race will get a chance to drive Div1 race and earn more points there. Both, Div1 and Div2 would have one centralized ranking.
