i just try to keep game alive also if NO ONE else do nothing and i can t manage in it alone

Easy to say if you can make a TS-server. I know there are many people here that would like to organize a TS cup but can't because their ISPs are so sucky.

I would like to have a slider -cup series but I can't host so that's it.

But all can organise dark cup...or ask to someone who have a good server!!!

Dark cups are not fun and it's not the same to ask a server as to have a own server.

The problem isn't server lack, only players luck. If you want a server to host a cup, you can ask and you'll find someone (me, tijny, mouse..).

If I want to host a cup, I don't want the server to depend on someone else than me.

When i organized tournaments back in 0.86b i could not host. I had to rely on others and that just did not work well. I'm telling ya, if you can't host and you haven't got a good connection you can not organize a proper tournament.

Sorry, but it is ture. Even thinking about the delays and the massive amount of complaints gives me a headache.

Surely if u have an your server u can organise a better cup, but i can tell u that MANY times i organised cups where i used 6 different servers at the same time (happy times...) and MANY times i also decided to not use my server using servers of other people and cups where very nice!!!

If u have people that u know well and that u trust in u ll make surely a good job!!!

However i think that JJG should give us a server for comunity cups etc...it will improve comunity by 30-40%!!

Informations

DIT is a "dark" competition: you won't know your position until the end of the challenge. So, don't post your times and final result in the forum, just send a single (1) e-mail including your recordings (you have an example below, at the end of this thread) to me, wazaari / wazaari@hotmail.it , after you feel you've finished, but naturally before the deadline.
This time there will be 2 deadlines to make competition more funny!!!!

Drive 1 lap in Jarno newest track J_Boilered with each default car (slider easyslider spinner antislider speeder)

This challange will be open the whole month of May, then it will end May the 31th 2006 @ 23:59 CET.

You must post a message here to enter the challenge. (http://www.ippon-team.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=144)

1st deadline: May the 15th, 23:59 CET
You have to send an e-mail with 2 car lap-times (no video needed)
These 2 times can't be improved in the second part of the cup and they will be posted by me in Ippon Forum (under "Dark Ippon Tournament" section) on May the 16th.
