As some of you know I've been building a new "social networking" site XIHA Life, which builds around casual games but offers a lot more. The site now is up an running with the user interface in 7 languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian, Finnish, Mandarin and Cantonese). We're eager to grow the language selection further as the experience has shown that our current members clearly enjoy the fact they can browse games, write blogs, discuss, etc. in their native language while still being part of a global community. Traditionally websites have been a mostly one or the other - either a global English site or localized local sites. We bring everyone around the same table!
The site is free to use, of course. We make money from game sales and ads, so everything the members get is free of charge (own web space, blogs, unlimited photo storage, chances to earn free games, etc).
Now, if you'd like to earn some games (we have a selection of more than 1,000 games, each with free demos) by helping your fellow countrymen get a localized site, get in touch! We are happy to see the site on any language, no matter how big or small the population speaking it. We compensate the translation efforts handsomely with a pile of games of your choosing, so if you're into games it doesn't get much better than this!
