PC shuts down

Hello all,

I have downloaded the demo to test the game, but it has a serious problem. When I play, the race stops in the middle and my PC gets the screen blue with lots of things written (letters and numbers) for 1 second, and then the PC restarts.

I have changed the audio in sliders.ini (i think I did it correctly: audiooff 1) like you suggested in one topic, but the only think I got was to finish one race. After that, when I pressed ESC to exit the track, the PC shuts down again!

Do you have any idea? My PC is new and very good. It shouldnt do that.

Hmm, yes, I remember something like this already happened some month ago. The solution was turning off the sound of the game. Open sliders.ini, find this:

# Audio Settings

AudioOn 0
CarEngineNumber 0
EffectChannelNumber 8
RemoteEngineVolume 0.000000
PositionEffect 0.000000
MenuVolume 0.000000
EffectsVolume 0.100000
MotorVolume 0.100000
SkidVolume 0.100000
MusicOn 0
MusicVolume 0.200000


Put AudioOn from 1 to 0. Other settings could be different, but it doesn't matter.

yes it happened to me and i solved the problem as dede wrote.

If it doesn'tw work for you try to switch audio card off and see if there is still the problem
