Connecting to turboserver.org - problem.

Post by captainpotato » Mon Jul 23, 2007 2:18 pm

Now my interest is back in TS, I'm finding that I cannot connect to turboserver.org at all. I can ping the server, reach it via http using Firefox, but not all using TS. I can even list the server list using http://turboserver.org/s.php?q=list

I'm port forwarding 6654 and 6655 to my box through my router, but this isn't helping (and I never had to do this previously, anyway).

I'm running the latest Linux version, FWIW. Any ideas?

As I remember, there was some problems when using the linux-version with sliders.linux.static. The problem was that you couldn't connect to the master server.

Try using sliders.linux.shared or sliders.linux?

Thanks - that's the problem. I'll try those once I get the missing libraries that I need :P

Yep, that's fixed it - thanks very much.

Mind you, judging the pings that the server is showing, I may need to find a new ISP :P
