Connection Problems, please help

I can play the game normally for a certain period of time. I can connect to server with no problem at all, and with a good ping.
However, sometimes the connection simply is lost (I got a "disconnected?" message in the screen corner, and other players go crazy).

It happens in the middle of the race, about once in 5 races, I guess.
It´s strange because I can still talk to the other guys and receive the best lap messages, although my car is in a complete different dimension (running alone while the other cars seems to be crazy).

Rarely it returns for the game, when I was already overtaken by everybody, but most of times I have to exit the game and join it again.

Any ideas?? I search this forum and didn´t find something similar.

It happens to pretty much everybody, just not nearly as often as to you.

Maybe you could try closing absolutely every other program that uses the internet? Just a thought...

What kind of internet connection do you have?

I already close all the other programs. The game runs almost 100% smooth, low ping. The only problem is this 'disconected?' thing.

My connection here is 1M pppoe, although it´s shared for many people through a router. I even had to make port forwarding so as to create servers.

In times that there are many people using the connection, I don´t even try to play.

Are you getting disconnected on every server? Or just in one or two?
Did you forward both client and server ports (6654 6655), and both TCP+UDP? And how about your firewall? Try closing it.

Actually it happens in every server. I didn´t forward 6654, just 6655, but I´m going to forward 6654 too (didn´t know about that).

I think I´ve already tried to play with the firewall disabled, but I´m going to disable it every time I play from now on.

I really wish this problem doesn´t happen anymore, because it´s very bad the frequency it happens to me.

I´ve already forwarded 6654 (both UDP+TCP) and turned off the firewall.
The problem still remains, though.

I appreciate the concern of everybody that tried to help me.

If someone has any other ideas, I will be thankfull.
