16 players too much on demo server
Could the player-number be reduced from 16 to 10 on the other Easyslider server as well as it is on UK demo server. It's pretty stupid trying to drive Minileap with 16 players. It would certainly be better solution to divide players to two servers with 10 on each one. That would give: 1) tolerable traffic, 2) fair competition and 3) less lag.

If you think 16 players is to much you dont have to race in that server stick to the 10 player servers, but i like the 16 player servers because its hard to win, i dont like a win thats givin to me. With more players you can emprove yourself because there well be faster players in the server at once. Just need luck not to start last like i seem to get stuck doing everyrace.

Re: 16 players too much on demo server
Hey, I think 16 players are more fun. Seems you really don't know how crowded the regular servers were once. In my opinion it takes at least 12 players to get real fun.Anonymous wrote:Could the player-number be reduced from 16 to 10 on the other Easyslider server as well as it is on UK demo server. Oh, Flexman, I do know very well what it was to have the old Playtrix servers full in 0.86b.
I guess, you can play TurboSliders for two reasons:
- to have fun (less "serious")
- to drive and compete for the win and lap times (more "serious")
You belong to the first option, while I'm in the second group. Now, if you have 16 players on server, which one of these options do you think it's easier to achieve? Yes. So now you may understand my point.
Basically, this is about "resources". If the tracks were generally larger (or cars smaller), you could have more drivers on the same race. The maximum number of 20 or 16 is not optimal (for racing) in many cases. Think of small track. Then think of many players. And finally, imagine the chaos. Fun? maybe. Fair racing for the win? Oh, not at all.
