Hey!

I just wanted to give another try to Sliders! I started play this game year 2003 then i stopped in 2004. I got 1.0 version! I want you guys to help me, how do or where do i download Tracks/Cars because some links on website not working properly.

I currently play with friends only, do we need to pay to play on full servers and have more options?

Thanks,

Appreciated.

Hi and welcome! I find it a little hard to believe that you played the game in 2001, seeing as the first release wasn't until 2003. :D

The latest TS version is 2.0, which you can download here on this site. As weird as it sounds, this version is shareware without any limitations, which means you will have access to all features of the game without having to pay a dime.

That's fine man, yeah somewhere 2003 then :p I messed up with the dates. Could you give me the direct link? So is it free the last version without any restrictions?

No, if you've downloaded the latest version then all you need to do is to select 'Network Game' from the main menu and then 'Server List' to see the list of available servers. Obviously servers have a different number of people in at different times of the day, but the peak time is usually from about 17:00 GMT until 00:00 GMT.

However, if you do choose to pay then this money would be contributed towards the running and maintainance of the main server :)

Other than that, Version 2.0.0 is completely free and the only benefits from paying is that it removes the (d) from after your name in the players list on servers (when you type /who) and there is also an option to allow only paying players into certain servers (however, I've never used or seen this feature being used, since it's much more fun to play with the whole Turbo Sliders community rather than just a select few).
