Nice to know you are backing this, creator!

BTW - there is a link on TS-Central. A banner on the top that says "Click Here To Get The Game!" and it links to the JGG page.

I did say i'd prefer an Estonian, didn't I? :D

Yeah no programming skill what so ever. Did look into PHP once, but 10 minutes later i was looking at the bottom of bottle.

Interested? Maybe... I just got a feeling there is not much for me to do. Anyways besides boosting my ego could anyone elaborate what the planned site will be like? Just a community? or a TS frontpage?

Nice to see that JGG is (always) supporting new projects, also if many of them are failing (and maybe this too, who knows..). Your post, Jani, gives me enough motivations to continue the project, at least.

@xzeal : we'll speak about that on msn

Sorry, I'm late, just came back from a computer-free trip. The TS centralised website would be very important for the game. I voted yes, I'd like that very much, because I believe dede holds the potential for such leadership. Not alone as a dictator, however, because ...
dede wrote:If we start doing the war on these things, then I don't see any point to make a centralised website.
acting alone one could suddenly end everything and that would be the end then. Democratic leadership amongst representatives from various nationalities sounds safer for me. By the way, why do you ask if you are not prepared for negative answers?

What, people don't know how to use the editor. FFS :)
And there is almost good track design guide with info how to use and make extra tiles and so on.

Actually, this is a good idea. I don't like making tracks, cars etc, but I see that many players are really interested. So, you are welcome, Jazzy.

Uhm, I'm starting thinking that I didn't use the correct word once more. The leader isn't the one that decides what to do in the project, no, of course. This project will be directed by TS Community: if only one person implements what he needs, then we'll have another personal TS website. This isn't what I want to obtain. But I also think that there must be 1 central person in the project: someone that manages everything, coordinate programmers' work and so on.. This can't be done by 5-6 persons.

This would be a nice page for the website. I have had a handfull of people come to me for help too. I suppose that video i talked about before could be nice. Mabye set it up so the video plays right on the page, and does not link to another site or link to a download.

I voted no. I don't think Dede is political enough to be the main person behind the project. It's nothing personal, it's just my oppinion and i'm thinking about the future of TS.

Btw, i can help if asked to. I got some political experience being the owner of TSB.

A tip to begin: There are a lot of things you gotta do by yourself to keep players interested in your community, playing and asking for more. For example, in this thread ts-central has failed.

Some said BRs are isolating themselves, this is not true, i got in this situation because of technical problems, and of course, the brazillian playing style is a bit different from european. And be sure, everyone are free to join our forum and even some official cups, like Mouse,Blut,Eddie and MN did sometimes.

One more question for the ones that voted "No..":
Do you think that if I stop with this project, someone else will realize the turbosliders.com we need? If yes, who and when?

At the moment no...but...

1 he will improve surely
2 I have only 2-3 names in my head that are political enough......
3 In the team there will surely be someone helping him in case.

So lets go ahead

At this moment, you're in charge. You're not the first person that came with a big project like yours, i think no one is encouraged enough to take all the work to realize this.
The answers to your questions are: No. :) .Maybe Hatu?

Hatu was, at first, the person who was supposed to do this.

Ok this means that the project is maybe too big for JGG (they have no motivation into doing this if they don't have some money back). I think what you said with "No". So lets just hope that someone helps me in this project.

I think that there would be many skillfull coders to do that site if there would be some money involved. :)

Ok, this is true, but they have to realize what we ask, not another incomplete website.

Well i get paid regardless, but i would be more willing to work on this project than my current project. By working on the project, I figured lead it.. But i can do several other things as well I guess :D JGG pays me for my job, but Creator is in charge of my assignments obviously -__-
