turbo sliders closing time..........

i dont know if this happens to anyone else but lol it takes me 5-10mins to shutdown turbosliders it takes forever............. :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :evil: :evil: :evil:

yes, it happend to me too.
there was an option to shut down in slider.ini

I will ask dede.

try changing GenerateHtmlStatsOnExit in sliders.ini

In game go to >
Settings > statistics > generate html on exit > choose No.

I use alt + esc to exit slider. in that way slider shuts down in background and i can start doing other stuff immediately.

yeh also i closed it by doing crtl+alt+del and ending task but it when you do this you have to delete stderr and stdout

it depends on the amount of files you have in your TS direcoctory - tracks, tiles, cars. At first its normal but the more files you add the longer it takes to quit. tahts what happened to me but then i figured out what it depended on. i used task manager to close it. anyway on my new PC its ok.

Wrong, it's due to html stats generation. I have more than 1200 tracks in my directory and TS closes in 2 seconds.

It is the amount of .rec files in records folder.

But if you change the setting mentioned above, then it doesn't matter how many files you got there.

kova do wat puna said it works cos it happend to me before and now it closes in about 4 seconds

Yeah. I dont do it like that. only two buttons. alt + esc. Dunno if thats supposed to work for other people too, but it goes nice for me :)
