SliderWatch!

Post by dede » Thu Mar 27, 2008 5:17 pm

Foei managed to patch a useful tool made by Christian "Gonzales" for TS 0.86b, so that it works now with the current master server.

SliderWatch automatically checks the servers list searching for interesting cups (you can configure the search criteria). If a server matches your criteria, the software will pop up and you will be able to run the game if interested.

Please leave your feedback here ;)

Thanks Fo&Christian for this tool!

So if I wanna race an anticup, a pop up will be displayed telling me an anti server went up?

THAT's pretty damn cool. :)

Doesn't work with me but I believe that's a feature rather than a bug.

Ehrm, you mean that the .exe won't run? I downloaded it too on my laptop and I got some problems running it (read it gives some weird error). I guess there has been some error when I uploaded the .rar, I will re-upload the package tomorrow.

Aww. Apparently there has been some compiling bug. On my main pc it works, but that may be because I got previous versions of it. I will discuss about this with Foei.

No it doesn't work either on my computer. Maybe this require some extra libraries to get working if it does run on yor computer?

Yep, he forgot to put them together with the exe. Tomorrow we'll fix this, hopefully.

I was thinking about implementing new features. Are there any C++ programmers willing to continue the project? (Foei is quite busy and can't do it, the guy who started the project seems busy as well)

If you're interested, please contact me :)
