Editor, tracks

Post by Whiplash » Wed Aug 05, 2009 1:20 pm

1. I have few old tracks that I made before I pik 'Whiplash' to be my username. This is what I want: to make Whiplash for 'track maker'. Is it possible to do now?
2. How to put my track(s) in one of servers on master server (for example - FULL CONTACT server)? Is it possible without admins?

1. Open your track (the .trk file) in Notepad (or Word, or Wordpad, or whatever you have available as text editor) and then, quite on top of it, you should find a line which says 'Maker <name>' and change the name to 'Whiplash', then save it (Ctrl+S)
2. To get your tracks on one of the existing servers, you HAVE to contact the administrator. There is just no other way. You have to know the admin password and then upload the track to the server and then use it. Or you can create your own server and add your tracks there.

You also need to save the track again in the editor, otherwise hash will be corrupted.

Wrong-o, just changing the trackname or author won't result in hash mismatches. You can even add or remove tiles with a blank pattern (all black) with no problems at all.
