Problem with New PC and Turbo Sliders

Post by Jeffrey » Sat Oct 14, 2006 7:58 am

On my new AMD 64-Dual, i'm encountering a problem when playing turbo sliders.

It seems that the problem does not have a fixed pattern when it occurs. When i m'playing TS all off a sudden i loose control of the car and also the sound gets strange. When i go out of the game, the PC restarts.

If anyone had any problems similar to this, please your help would be much appreciated.

Yes, wazaari had the same problem. Try to disable the audio from sliders.ini.

Jeff contact me i had exactly same probs
99% it is due to audio card
so u can try to switch it off and u ll see that ts will work
Moreover u can still play it with sound but not with music (disabling it from sliders.ini).
Maybe we had same audio card, i changed it and all is ok now

Turbo Sliders used to work fine with this sound card on my p4.

Now the trouble started on amd64.

The sound card is a Sound Blaster Audigy.

You mean i disable the music and leave just the sound fx. I switch off music from game or from sliders.ini?

and what exactly was your problem?

It's the same thing, try to disable the whole audio before, and check if it works.

If it has something to do with the sound card, updating the drivers might help. But yes, it is good to first test the game without sounds to see if that helps.
