Answer to Question 1.
Malta and Gozo are very close small islands. Everybody knows each other, so its very easy to meet and get new members in the club.
Answer to Question 2
I'm afraid its a local championship only. The reason being that although we are a virtual club, we are not 100% virtual. We pay membership fee to race, we buy throphies, we meet and discuss races and club issues and once a year in summer we have the prize giving ceremony. So having foreign drivers goes against this idea.
Having a winner which is foreigner and cannot attend the annual prize giving ceremony makes no sense. Posting the throphy which this year cost around 38 euro each + posting and packing, will be expensive.
rFactor is still an initail project, infact many VRM members have no steering wheel and pedals to play it, and maybe not a strong PC to run the game smoothly. But in the future we might organize rfactor international cups as we do with TS.

Malta community is rather awesome. If there was one like it in the US, I would probably pay to be involved. I don't think they take the game too serious, they just really love it.Scud wrote:You guys take this game too seriously... Besides, it's not so fair for Jeffrey to run everything, AND spend his money on trophies and the website ect.... Good that the community can pay for this stuff too.

www.youtube.com/sliderstv <---- Best Turbosliders Videos ever made
I surely will
I love Turbo Sliders a lot. I've managed 6 F1 Championships in the past and other international tournaments. I invested lot of time working on tracks: the trackpack you see above.
Despite the fact that we left TS, i still kept visiting the website and forum to check the progress.
The F1 Speed League seems very interesting. I visted the website: http://f1sl.thegoo.us/ but it is not in English so i coud not understand anything.
Persoanlly i think that having an international championship with drivers from around the world its' nice to have the website in English, so that everyone can understand.
who is taking care of the F1 Speed League?
