Indy 500 Tournament

Beginning next month, there will be an Indy 500 Tournament held!

The tournament will consist of a number of races on the IMS track and using the IndyCar car (both can be found on the Indianapolis 500 Autoserver) spanning the month of May.

Short version of the details:

To qualify, run cups on the "Indy 500 Tournament Qualifying" autoserver anytime between April 30th and May 7th. Run as many cups as you want - your single best total time is what counts.

Tournament is on May 8th. All drivers will be assigned to a Heat Race. Best 12 after Round 1 move on to Round 2. Best 6 move on to Final Round.

ALL races, qualifying and tournament, will be Ghost Races.

Check the www.tscups.com forums often for updated information throughout the qualifying and tournament.

We're almost at the end of the first of eight days of qualifying, and so far 29 drivers have qualified!

Head over to the www.tscups.com forums (Forums > Online Cups > Indy 500 Tournament) for the latest qualifying standings and information about an additional qualifying procedure designed to help those with lag connecting the qualifying server!!!

Lol! The qualy time is the total time! i thought just the fast lap would be taken!

As i crash many times in my atempts, i think i can do better times!

I guess, you multiplied his attemps with 25, did you?
Surely he might have driven more than 1000 laps, i can imagine, but i think, he has not driven 74 *25 lap races.

Maybe he drove 50 times to the end, maybe 10-20 times he just started, but has not driven 1 lap, because he disconnected, but his race counted as attempt.

@fasteddie:
from the race stats in the log.txt you can fetch also the driven laps of each driver.
So you can for example create next to attempts rows like:
- total number of driven laps
- total number of races with 25 laps (maybe with percentage, but not necessary)
- total number of races with 0 laps (not so necessary, but it would be interesting, though)
- total number of races with >0 and <25 laps (but this might not be necessary)

Yes that is true... in fact my application does indeed fetch that info, it just doesn't do much with it. I think I will change that.

Then we'll see exactly how many laps I've run... if I had to guess I'd say it's pretty close to the 1850 road_oktane calculated!!!!

Well guys, it's half-way through the week, and half-way through the qualifying period for the Indy 500 tournament! And I'm thrilled to see that 75 different people have run laps on the track so far!!!
