I would like to take a part in the F1 League, if registration is still open?
btw. Is there some kind of newsletter or mailing list for this kind of announcements? - I had no idea that you're organizing the new competition, although I'm regularly visiting F1 server and nobody's appearing there for quite some time.

we are still open to the real deal.
you have like 40 players.. and 20 players to run..
you have class rank players
my idea is simple
alll a teams plays will qualify for sure i dunno how many a players have
seems 7 or 8
so only 12 spot left to b c d players..
so 4 best times in the b players are in
4 best times of c players are in
and 2 best times of d players are in
no need to any pre race.
i think this idea is perfect.
all guys will get motivated to wank
c players to be into the best 4
b players to be into the best 4
and d players to be in top 2
this is my real final word..
if no rule change you guys can sigme out..

REIROM: Do you really think, its better to give mister pom's, pingu's, matic's and badeends spots, to d players? That D or B or Y doesn't mean anything.. it is, because that they can make much teams which are as good as the other teams. Damn my english, but i meant its just 'cause of that no-one couldn't make a team with: Janne, Dede, Tijny, Mike and silcir etc... That is the reason if you can understand me? there is no rule, what says that D-player can't win some races. You can practise that much as you'll win! It is allowed, why you are not practising?1. The idea behind it all was:
1) The 20 best will have their spots guaranteed, based on qualy times. Whoever shows up on the race day gets the missing spots, provided they are registered and have the next best times.
2) We'll have teams and we will categorize people as A, B, C or D so each team is balanced. The class serves to this purpose only. Individuals are running against individuals. Teams is just a way of uniting the players and making the whole experience even more fun.
It doesn't make ANY sense to prevent a better player from running the cup just to have someone's who is not that good. Both want to run, why should the worst has the advantadge? Merit doesn't work that way. What you need to do is practice harder. Then you will get your spot.
No need for people wanting to twist the rules or ban people to get their spots. Do like everyone else and work for it.

because the more fast in qualify dont necessary is the best player?
and if only the top players run.. dont have any reason to d play to be here..

Yes Reirom, that 2 race thing is good idea. But of course best players who are online, will drive on race. Like Tijny or Dede said, people have been very interest in of this league. One of the biggest if i understood right. Usually, just all players who have signed themselves up, are welcome to drive in race, but in this league, we have that much people who want to play! You have to just understand this thing. Because of that, we have qualification so best players will be there. If we could get another race, where could be drivers who are not as fast as first race, i think that is great! so everyone can drive and everyone has some goal to reach: A place in 1st race.
In real life formula 1 there are driving all the best drivers. That's why there is alive some F3 etc where can drive slower and younger drivers. Anyway REIROM, all of us are only having fun here! You should try to do it too! don't take it so serious. Try to drive more and more and you'll get finally better times as some players who are now faster as you. There is no any magical drink or some "car update" with which you'll get better times

Lag won't be considered a good reason to quit a race. Players will have a whole warmup + some other training sessions before the race in order to test lag.
Of course, if lag comes during the race only and the race itself becomes impossible, we understand that player might want to quit. But this can't happen all races (or if it does, the player should consider to retire from the league if he's not able to continue).
