TS AutoServer Help

Post by Anthony » Sat Aug 06, 2005 5:43 pm

I'm having a problem using the TS AutoServer (I think I got it from Jazzyclub's site). Whenever I click "Start Server", it gives me a message that says:
Run-time error '53'
File not found.
Any help please? :?

yes i remember geting that also when i first used that program. i am not sure how i fixed it though :? . did you make a copy of TS? go to the Turbo Sliders file (not a shortcut, from local dicc, program files ect...) and make a copy and paste to the desktop. you should see a pop up on the screen showing each file being copyed over. then move the autoserver program into the copy of TS folder, then it should work. also remember to use the original TS filder for game play, not the copy, copy is only for autoserver. it also helps, before you copy TS, to make a server manually with all the tracks and cars, so when you copy TS, the tracks, cars ect... info will all be there. hey i hope it works out for you ;)

I got it to work and I realized what happened. I didn't have the TSAC.exe in the main Sliders directory, I had it in its own folder. :P

I have another question, though, how can I set the Default Settings to something else? I don't want it to say "Jazzyclub" etc every time I open it. Thanks. :D

I went into the macros.ini, and everything I entered for my own server was already in there, even after I closed the TASC.exe program. But when I run it again, it reverts to the default ("Jazzyclub Auto Server" etc). I think it may be embedded in the program somehow. I think the only person who can help is Jazzyclub. :?

this row: ## Macros.ini creato con TURBO SLIDERS AUTOSERVER CREATOR BY JAZZYCLUB ##
appear only in macros.ini not in game server or infos

PS: to make a custom name server just modify the Info server where is write: Jazzyclub TSAC Server.

PSS: if you mean the words in any field are always the same, that's right but i can save it in registry if this is useful for all "not for single"

I know. That's what I've been doing. I wanted to "customize" it by having it say the name of MY server every time I opened TSAC instead of it saying "Jazzyclub TSAC Server" every time I open it.
