Let's say you're in Finland and you're going to employ someone. You have 2 equally skilled candidates who ask for the same salary and are identical in every way but one of them is Finnish and one of them is Somali. You only need one of them. By law you are not allowed to base your selection on their nationality, language skills, gender... But were you to choose the Finn you would be taken to court. That's what positive discrimination is about.

I'm certainly against this law. The private company should be able to use whatever standards to hire their employees, even racist ones. It's their problem if they use such stupid standard. The government has no business in it. That doesn't mean that this is an intelligent position, of course, because racism is stupid. They might lose real talent and hire mediocre people by doing so. Also, people will know about it and will boycott the company, so it hurts them anyway. No need for government there as damage is certainly to be done. One thing about stupidity is that it has suicidal tendencies.
I'm not in favor of giving privileges to minorities, if that's what you're interested. I'm against "affirmative action". I think this is a stupid leftist concept that only feeds racism in the minds of narrow minded people who look at the world with an "us against them" mentality, both from the right or the left. People should be recognized for their character and not their color.
Nations should have the prerrogative of choosing whoever gets in their country, no doubt about it. Again, that doesn't mean that illegal immigrants are necessarily bad for the country. Many researches show that it is actually good for the economy, since it gets more competitive (lower salary), it creates more revenue (immigrants pay taxes when they buy products) and helps the GDP overall. As for criminals, just lock them in. It's certainly much cheaper than creating a huge bureaucracy to prevent them from coming in. Just look at the USA. It's a mess.
Well, you probably wouldn't be allowed to create a topic like that because it would be considered offensive by many, including me. You have to know the difference between public and private. This is a private forum and it has rules of behavior. When I read something like "black people are all lazy and dumb", it offends me. It's a private forum and, therefore, the owners decide to run the way they think it's better. As far as I know, the owners do not condone racism or xenophobia.
You can do or say whatever you want about people in your life (or at least should), as long as you don't physically threat or harm them. I don't believe in such thing as "opinion crime".
