OFF Season F1 Cup

almost 3 months after the last F1 race! its time to talk about something! since we will only have 1 edition a year we easily could make a different kind of competition with released tracks between!?
i know people will come here and say that isnt a good idea because others who have more time will wank more and therefore have better chances to win.......! but we easily can avoid that just by making some kind of voting! people who want to participate can vote from that List and send pm to dede! because he hopefully would be so gentle to make the scripts!? i would do the rest! so he would be the only person who knowns on what tracks we would race and therefore nobody would have the advantage of wanking xxxx laps on a certain track! only dede!

with almost no work we could create an awesome F1 OFF Season Cup!?

.. or we could actually announce tracks on purpose, so that newbies will wank and train as much as possible, in order to get ready for next F1 League!

Just let me know what people want to play, I could even take care of the organization (help would be appreciated still).

Personally I like cups where everyone has done a few laps, I think it makes the racing better.. but yes, you will always get Mike who wants to wank 1000000000 laps so maybe keeping it secret is a better idea

On the other hand newbies have less motivation to start, beacuse they don't know track.

In my opinion the best option is starting on realised tracks with getelman rule: good drivers don't wank before race. We have sth like this in our Porsche Cup and it causes that many drivers, who aren't actually the best, can fight for wins and podium.

Format: 2 short races (no more than 10 minutes). 2nd race with reverse start order. Maybe first race on wet track, second on dry.

And my suggestion: ballasts. ex. dede, palbinho gets 30kg, Shyguy, me 20kg, Szymek, Drago 10kg, newbies 0kg. (ex. 10kg - accelaration -1/2 - grip -5).

well that for sure makes the racing better and cleaner! and i also think that we should make this cup different to the League!
i also like dede´s idea, maybe we can have a server going like we had already in League3! would maybe attract some players for the League5 and for sure bring some activity to the F1 server! wich cant be a bad thing!

Other question is.. how many players will be interested in joining this cup? If it attracts still 35 players, two races will be needed..

I'd personally go for released and announced tracks, so that newbies can train and get better. I would keep this cup a little less official than F1 League, maybe even without "general standings".. So that nobody will be forced to join all races for the ranking, and so that the stress-level will be quite low.

I will think about cup format and post here some idea..

we had something similar in Puschtras Cup and it worked good! question is if we want to do it again? personally im more a fan of fuel off or strategy races! forget about the wet, if we are lucky we see 1 rain race, somehow people dont like it much!

I'd prefer unreleased tracks. I'd love to see tyres going away, also. I'm not sure I'm going to see that happen, though. Same with rain.

We should have F1 Season and Puschtras. 2 F1 cups per year is more than enough, I think. 10 tracks both.
