Hello Eveyone, we proudly announce today the premier of the Puna Winter Cup!

Rules
Max Teams & Players
The cup will have a maximum of 16 players (6-8 teams of 3 players).
The maximum number of sign-ups in both groups is 8. So we can have max. 16 players in group A and 8 players in group B. If there is not enough players in Group B, the Championship will be played with 2 players only, without the 3rd element.

Anyone can sign up for group A if they think they're good enough. We won't restrict that. Likewise, if you think you belong to group B(let's try to be honest with this, to avoid a team with 3 pros), then you should post on the appropriate area of the forum which group you belong in. Note that individual sign-ups for group A aren't allowed. You must enter with a 2-man team.

League Format
All teams will have 2 weeks time to play against each other team once. You can play 1 Game like it was casual, and then post the results and the scorers on Pb topic forum so we can have the results of the league updated.
For group matches there will be a restriction that the group B player has to play in at least 3 matches and once with each teammate.
Top 4 players will play in the semi-finals and final within one day period(best of 3 matches, and group B player has to play in at least 1 match per semi-final. The same rule applies for the final to be fair. If you don't follow this rule, teams will suffer a 3-point penalty!

The teams will have 2 weeks to complete their max. 7 group matches. If after a deadline there are unplayed matches, one date will be fixed for a match to take place (The Sunday of the 2nd week). If only one team arrives to that match, they win by forfeit

As we have quite a lot sign ups already, people can start forming teams like Dide, edy and Sarangheyo already did. The sign up is still open and for 6 teams, which is the minimum requirement for this to go forward, we need only 2 more players.

Maybe Lea, Modric and me could build one? Btw, I still need to understand all those rules. I'm confused with the name of the league. Why 2vs2 instead of 3vs3?

It will be weird to fallow the results of the games that you didn't play. Simply 3vs3 would be much cooler.

Whiplash, It is just simply at this: This is a 2 x 2 League, you schedule your own games(if you can't be there, the other guy from your team will sub you, since it is a 3-man team), you only need to post the results from your games here.

And also, its easier to get 2 guys online than 3. Let's give it a try with this system.

Teams, Punaball League 2 x 2 has started! You can start to schedule your games, and don't forget to post the results here or send me/jan a PM with the results.

Would be nice if you can also tell us the scorers so i can create a top goalscorer list etc:)

Rules: 1 Game ONLY with 10+2 goals system. This is a 2x2 system.
Teams only Play once vs each other. Deadline: 09/12/12 !

Group B Players will have to play at least TWICE in the League phase and once in the /semi-finals/final. During the League Phase, if a group B player don't play at least twice games, teams will have a penalization of 3 points! If anything otherwise, let me know.

These are the teams sorted:

Stealth+Kooler(Group A)+Popovitch(Group B)

Jan+Fama(Group A)+Szymek(Group B)

Dede+Xzeal(Group A)+Olio(Group B)

Magico+Pingu(Group A)+Arsen(Group B)

Dide+edy(Group A)+Sarangheyo(Group B)

Well, I think that it just sounds simple, but in fact it will make problems. Whatever schedule you make, all 3 members will still need to be there. Cause I can't know when I will and will not be able to play. Also, if you know already that you 'll not be able to show up in some match, it's easier just to postpone it.
This could be solved maybe if you create one main schedule (fixtures) for all our matches. We should all fallow it, and just in some cases we could make corrections and postpones. That will make some order in all of this.
