What is the best solution?

Tijny wrote "Since players all over the world are participating, it might be a good idea to have another look at the settings. In a match between a European player and a Brazilian one a third leg is almost inevitable, and finding a good and fair third-party server in that case won't be a picknick either.

My suggestion:
- Both players get to play 1 (maybe 2 in the playoffs) timed game (time limit: ~10 minutes) on a server of their choice.
- The scores are counted together and whoever has most goals wins.

I think a system like this is more fair to everyone, and I'd like to hear your opinions on the matter. "

I ask to ts comunity some suggestions:
My ideas are:
1 If there is a 1-1 situation do 1 more leg in autoserver and give 2 points to winner and 1 to looser

2 If there is a 1-1 situation give 1 point each

3
If there is a 1-1 situation we could count all goals (ex 10-3 and 5-10------------> 15-13) and give 2 points to winner and 1 to looser
Tell me what u think

Wazaari, for me, it's ok to play all 3 legs at any USA neutral server.

That would be very nice and maybe the most fair solution. 2 x 10min.
In the brasilian/international TSB PunaCup 4 (1vs1) we played with 24 players a qualification of 2 x 7 min each match: http://www.turboslidersbrasil.com/punacup4.htm

That worked relative fair, actually. But i played vs many brasilians, so i had the advantage that i used to play a fixed strategy (home: attacking, risky dribblings - brasilian server: defending my goal as good as possible...).
1 If there is a 1-1 situation do 1 more leg in autoserver and give 2 points to winner and 1 to looser
The connection to the PB autoserver is bad for me and i think that there are enough other people with the same problem too, but i am not sure.
2 If there is a 1-1 situation give 1 point each
That's also a possible fair solution.
But i can imagine, that "brasil vs europe - matches" will end too often 1-1 then ;), don't you think that too?
3 If there is a 1-1 situation we could count all goals (ex 10-3 and 5-10------------> 15-13) and give 2 points to winner and 1 to looser
This sounds also possible and fair.

But generally, in groups, i would suggest a "goals: 10 +0" instead of +2 system, since the most shot goals might count after the points and the goal tendence. But that's only a little problem.

Note though: if there is a 10-4 and a 4-10, then maybe both should get only 1 point (?).
Hmm...10-8, 10-8 would mean: 3-0 pts and 20-16 goals, while 10-4, 10-12 would mean 2-1 pts and 20-16 goals with a 10+2 system...
Well, actually acceptable for my taste.

But i still prefer the 2 x 7 or 2 x 10 (playoffs: 2 x 15) min solution, where goals are counted together. The clear advantage is, that you know how long the match will be and partly players are forced to play not too defensive. In matches with goallimits and the score is 5-8, the player with only 7 goals might play maybe so defensive, that the time to the next goal is relative high -> and the match takes longer and longer...
