Wow, what a result, FT: Benfica 11-2 Celtic

Celtic were leading 2-1 at HT!!! Brazil vs Germany type of collapse from them, I dunno what Xzeal did in his 2 minute halftime break but it didnt help! Group D standings are:

Ok, Monaco vs Real Madrid will have to be rescheduled to another gameweek. Only one person turned up, I know its a reschedule but thats still not good! I'll give you all the benefit of the doubt though.

Please, fill out Gameweek 3 doodle topic! We have plenty of games still to go in the group stages, so I NEED to know when people are available. You have one day before the deadline, please try to fill it before then because otherwise, people dont get enough time to read the forum to see when their game will be!

Ok, Group C finally kicked off today with 2 interesting games featuring Sampdoria

First, they won FT: Sampdoria 9-1 Leverkusen, Leverkusen made defensive errors quite a bit but actually I think they have the basics in place. If they can get a shock result in any of their next couple of games, they could still provide a way through to the knockout stages. Need to get rid of those errors though!

Also, Sampdoria played Juventus - FT: Juventus 1-2 Sampdoria. This game was much more defensive minded, and both teams defended well mostly, although Juventus conceded two from errors, instead of from Sampdorias brilliance. First early in the first half an own goal, conceded perhaps from panic trying to clear the ball out, then in the 2nd half they conceded straight away from the kick off. After that, Sampdoria defended well for the rest of the half and it was all over.

So, the next games I plan to schedule in this group are Juventus vs Leverkusen, Sampdoria vs Juventus, and then in Gameweek 4, Leverkusen vs Sampdoria and Leverkusen vs Juventus.
