Stamp it and paste in: bus-stops, subway, pubs, cinemas, schools or where you like to spam it :)

Yep, i got this idea today and i told Jazzy of it, so he made this great poster! Tomarrow i am going to print several copys and will hang them / hand them out all over my high school. You should do the same, hand them out to friends / family / classmates and/or people you work with. We can build this community, so help out as much as you can!

Hehe, but seriously and marketingwise, don't u think that putting all the effort to real Internet advertising would generate multiple benefits compared to this, afterall, people ARE looking for online games in Internet - not in the subwaystations. You should place 1000 of these to for 1 purchased licence..when you consider printing costs, transportation cost, opportunity costs you end up with a whole lot more than 19.95 USD.

As a marketing message it's otherwise good, but has too normal default font, too less white space between the rows and poorly organizised pictures: you can't present any "MOD"-pictures at the first - surely you have to concentrate on the main features and then go into the details. Other thing is the zoom of the pics - they should have more variaty in this matter, for example the "Ready, set, go" pic should've been zoomed to include just the cars on the starting line - not the almost whole track as in all of the pics. The message should also state that this is a PC game.

I agree. That ad is good for handing in class to classmates or stuff like that but not for subway stations walls. As anonymous said: too much stuff in the ad, too many pictures and text and nothing special to get your attention.

That it what it is for, to hand out to people in my school. Just remember that word travels, if we get 10 people to try the game, and they tell their friends, and they tell their friends ect.... the word of TS will spread it bit more than those 10 people.

usually just getting 10 people to try the game is rather hard.

When i first read a review about this game on www.the-underdogs.org i was really sceptical if i should even try it. (but because the review mentioned slicks slide and online in the same sentence i thought i can test it)

Honestly i have got the impression that younger people are spooked away because it is 2d (and costs money) and older people just don't play PC games anymore. But what do i know, i live in Estonia , its a bit different here then the area we are trying to influence

Now the problem is that real life advertizing costs money and wont really get people playing this unless you advertize it on tv in the middle of a certain soccer match in Germany in 2006 :).

so here is my suggestion: who is willing to get BUT NAKED have www.turbosliders.com written on their back and run around on the field during the 2006 germany football world championship finals?

When you tried it it was the old version without limits, right?

I see it also a problem getting 10 people to try it because many don't even want to try it when they see that they only can race three tracks. There is a bigger chance of getting them hooked to the game when they could join a normal cup with me.

By the way: Concerning me I think it was Timo Kauppinen who told me that there is a good Windows-"Clone" of his Slicks'n'Slide. That time - it was Version 0.82 I think without master server - you had to go into the IRC channel for figuring out where a cup is. The master Server then was really a big improvement!

Pay me the tickets, transportation, accommodation, booze (the largest expense), etc. and I'll do it.

What we should do is go on popular PC game forums and spam it with TS. I know its awful to spam, i hate when people post here trying to get us to play their stupid online poker, but TS deserves to be advertised, get on the forums, tell people about the best game available! I know i said i was going to, but never did, soon i will (and hopefully not get banned from the forum).

Ye Jazzy that is a good idea.

What about making a post in here: http://forum.rscnet.org/ under arcade racing maybe it works.

More people more website + tiles + cars + tracks.

Spread the TS virus around the globe. Soon we will be in control.

A couple of websites we can all go to on a daily/weekly basis to cast votes would be a good start. Some game sites let people vote for their favorite games. Put it in your favorites list and try to vote every now and then.

www.worldonlinegames.com (a couple people vote for TS here)
www.mpogd.com (I am the only one who has rated TS)
www.topwebgames.com (no TS mentioned here)
