"Ten thousands of millions of years ago, there were two dangerous space-criminals who escaped from the dungeons of Alpha Centauri. Kyra, the beautiful serpent princess, ruler of all galaxies bar two hundred and ninety three, was enraged when she heard of the news, taking out her anger on two priests and one monkey. She vowed to find the two renegades and throw them into the haunted volcanoes of the sun. A devastating galaxy-hunt the world had never seen before began, spanning two centuries, four milky ways and a supersized serving of chips for lunch. Twenty years ago, the hunt finally reached a holy blue planet in the outer limits of the galaxy, called Earth. It was here that the two criminals disguised themselves as peaceful young men, possibly, but not very likely, German.

Legend has it the Dark Overlord Ande was spawned from the nether-regions of Jupiter to find these young men, and bring them back. The evil schemer of grand plans that Ande is, he thought of a grand plan to trick the disguised young men and recapture them. A very, very evil computer game by the name of Turbo Sliders was created and distributed around the internet, for free! (until the beautiful serpent princess heard of the plan and saw it as a great way to finance her monkey-factories). Two naÃ¯ve little, drunk, handsome young princes were cast from heaven to help Ande organise a tournament. The idea was to make this tournament so evil, only the most dangerous of dangerous space-criminals could win it. And so it began, during the cold winter months of 2005, a brilliantly fun tournament was createdâ€¦. The Circus on Wheels."

Anyways, we all know this is a load of bollocks and really just a simple excuse to organise a Turbo Sliders league in one of the best forms of pure Fun racing, 1 lap Rough Racing.

This time though we wonâ€™t be having a free for all, but instead weâ€™re going to race in teams. Some of you will already be familiar with the concept of 2on2 Rough Racing, but for those of you who arenâ€™t, hereâ€™s a quick introduction:

A team consists of two players and one match involves two teams, hence 2on2. Both teams will host one leg of ten 1-lap rough races on their own server. During these races anything is allowed except for a few slightly unsportsmanlike actions (like backwards driving), bumping isnâ€™t prohibited, itâ€™s mandatory. Best car for bumping is the easyslider so this is the one that will be used. The winner of the race gets 3 points, second placed gets 2, third gets 1 and the last placed driver, in informal circles often referred to as â€œthe loserâ€

Brilliant! I sure would like to be part of it, but i'm lacking some faithfull companions. So if anyone would like to join me in the battle to be thrown in a volcano, please let me know...

Hum.... Looks like orange forum has been deleted or something - though that is hardly surprising. I thought it would be best to inform all of you who were interested about COW in this forum too:

The COW is postponed untill further notice. (I know, this announcement is friggin' boring and way more unprecise than the earlier notice on orange forum, but you just have to live with it.)

Fortunately I've saved most of the info from orange forum so everything should be as it used to be - or actually better - when we finaly get this thing started... ummm... forgive me, IF we get this thing started.
