I screwed up that race (with help of Astunce), but my love to statistics is kinda endless, sooo here we go

Fastest "first" lap in 6 lap qualification races:
1. Badeend 1.07.188
2. Mike 1.07.22x
3. Tijny..right?
Fastest 6 lap races (kinda to have a small peak on race consistency):
1. Mike 6min25.2x (with sucky last lap, so 6min24.8 possible, low 6min24 maybe reachable)
2. Badeend 6min25.4x
3. Tijny 6min25.8x (?) or better..
Qualifications in comparison:
Top10 last week were within 0.96% off the record. This week 0.82%. Got tougher!
Top20 last week were within 1.70% off the record. This week 1.15%. Got tougher!
Gap between 3rd and 4th last week were 0.39% (0.331s). This week 0.46% (0.290s).
Maybe the Top3 got more crazy in the battle, considering last week's track was actually more difficult.
Laptime surprises:
Mike lowering the 63.59ish rec by Tijny to 63.38.
Tijny, without having driven a 63.4x lap yet, drops off a 63.37, while Bade closes up from 63.60 to 63.48, later to 63.44.
Mike smashing the rec down to 63.30 with Bade closing up to 63.39 at some point.
Carlos Sainz Jr throws out a 63.594 for an awesome 4th place, beating the record Tijny once had in the very first day. MUITO BOM!
Tijny crushing Mike's rec down to 63.226 and Badeend closes up to 63.304 (+0.003 to Mike).
Mike, without driving a single 63.2x on the server, catches a 63.192 for the pole position.
T being so friendly to not go for another rec

<3
WILL decides to copycat Alexander Wurz 63.847 lap

ktf missing top20 by 0.003 :E
10 drivers within 0.126s! Milliseconds war!

17 drivers within 0.263s!
Known practice race total times:
1. Tijny 60min56s
2. Mike 61min02.6s (with 10 mistakes costing 7.0sec)
Race:
Having practiced the start, the pit (1.16.0ish pitlap often @28/28 1 stop stints), having driven some quite solid practice races AND having solid constant fast races in the qualification server AND having the pole on an easy track was THE chance to beat Tijny

...but seeing how constant Bade and Tijny drove the qualification races as well kinda let me feel there is probably around a 33% winning chance for all of the top3.
I kinda planned to experimental check my "off pace" performance during my race, like i did in most of my practice races, because this kinda pushed me to drive constant fast laps, but instead i screwed up a lot of 1st curves, fearing to mess up so badly, i screw up the race lead unnecessarily. The result was: 1st curve suckiness and upper right curve suckiness, as if i never practiced these curves before. Pressure handling: fail.
Lap 1: last curve i tried to place my car in a way Tijny has to overtake right, without realizing he was probably trying to overtake left -> in the replay it might look a bit like i blocked him, but that was not really the plan. I just had the early plan to place my car in a way Tijny might have to drive a wide curve to overtake right.
I suddenly had a little lead at some point and thought that i could maybe fly away (lol)...but apparently i was not the only once practicing before the race
Lap +-11?: Badeend trying to overtake inside with me having the plan to give him such a slow corner speed that i will outspeed him on the outside with us two going into the curve side by side. It ended up with Bade colliding with me, while i was kinda driving at the very edge of the track. Imo no clean overtake...but that did not seem to make a difference in today's race results.
Lap 33: after driving offroad in stint 1, losing a place to Tijny at some point, i chose to pit 3 laps earlier in order to avoid upcoming traffic (3 cars getting lapped). A horrible pit lap of Tijny (stuck twice or so -> he lost 4 seconds to my somewhat solid pitlap there!), i even came out in front of Badeend. At lap 33 or so i had around +-1.2sec lead to Badeend and 5.2sec lead to Tijny (which i didnt know at that point).
Lap 36: unfortunately Astunce probably tried to not lose time when getting lapped by me, so he stayed on the ideal line in the fast middle full speed curve instead of driving a wide outside line in order to let me pass. That way i got a bit surprised by the draft and went deeply offroad and lost about 4.0 seconds. (
-> punish for Astunce? or was that less of a biggy? or should that even be considered to be the fault of the lapping driver? anyway, he probably did not realize he would screw me up there. maybe the lapped cars should try to avoid that. this time it wasnt a big problem, considering Tijny was imo faster and kinda deserved the 2nd place more, even though his lack of pit practice should have probably punished him a bit more^^)
Lap ??: Astunce crashing in the lower left corner, Badeend into him^^...giving me the chance to close up. Unfortunately that caused dede to get sandwiched between Bade and me, so i lost another second by drafting badly behind dede in the upper left corner, i would have loved to avoid - although even if dede would have driven a slow outside curve there, i would have probably screwed the curve a little bit due to the draft chaos. Still, it felt like an important second..
I felt like chasing Badeend now, somewhat not caring a lot about Tijny, even he was closer to me than i was to Badeend and i had the tyre-disadvantage.
At some point Tijny got closer again and after driving offroad, he could easily pass me - he woulda caught me anyway though, it seemed at that point.
So i went with a bit more risk to avoid getting him into the draft zone.
In the end: my practice pace was solid, but my pressure handling blacked me out.
Well deserved win for Badeend. Grats again! When Tijny was a second behind somewhat early, i actually had a good feeling the race might be decided between me and Bade, but Tijny's pace increased in a way that i could not handle well. With Astunce help, T's horrible pit desaster (costing him a possible win) was evenized in a way that he could catch my somewhat safe 2nd place. Meh^^
Fuel strategy:
this time, seeing how well i perform in practice with the strategy of just hunting a lapbased record each lap, i did not care about fuel consumption at all. Thus, the bad fuel stats.
Stats by power79: (ty, power!)
Nice fast pitlap (lap 19) by Carlos! My 2nd place wasnt super strong, but for a safe pitlap pretty solid!
Badeend 93% startfuel, ending with 2.1% -> WTF

...rolling out long before curves to have a better aiming and more consistency or what? As Tijny told us to?
Next week qualification link (correct me if this one is wrong):
http://lvp-ts.com/laptimes/?track=4K_Wh ... er=server3
I checked my PB there: (1.31.784)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oYc6Dl ... e=youtu.be
I remember that this rec was tough to beat on this very difficult track and i saw a low 1.31.5 driven by Tijny on LVP5 i think. With Badeend having the old rec and being able to drive a 1.31.9 on 1st try and Tijny a 1.31.6 on 1st try, i see good chances in getting only 3rd place, maaaybe 2nd with some luck. That being said, i probably skip improving my server records on purpose for most of the week and probably even skip a lot of practicing, using the rainy days in this week to be more active in another "game"
Practice Race Test for next Race: (might be useful for some drivers in order to know fuel or pace for next race)
1:01:34.730 (39 laps, 95% startfuel, ending with 7.75%, 2xpit -> 13/13/13 stints, FL: 1:32.4xy)
crahs: 1 (4 seconds lost entering pits)
practice: only 12 laps at qualification server, so i kinda blindly gone into testing without knowing the pits.
/startfuel 88% it might be for me then.
Pitlap 2 was around 1.43.3 (semi fast, not sure), so the pitlap might cost around 10.5 seconds (1-2 stopper might be similar fast, not considering traffic)
The last race first practice (with more pre practice though) was 61min15.8+- (with 5-6 seconds of mistakes) -> later it ended up in 61min02.6 with 7 seconds mistakes, so...probably my end pace would be more than just 12-13 sec faster, i hope^^ -> 1:01:21, taking off average 7 seconds off due to sucky race pace, the top3 might finish within 1:01:28 in the upcoming race, in case i would practice enough to be that fast. Drivers finishing 1-2 laps behind might use this in order to start with lower startfuel. Though i wonder how many drivers are actually practicing a full local race (and how many of them read this here^^)...
