Wolf, if you're driving to get good laptimes it's best to disable fuel and damage, they could both slow you down.
But even with fuel and damage 29.3 isn't really fast, so I might as well give you a few tips:

1) Use the whole width of the track. That way you'll have more speed after the curves. Drive on the outside when approaching a curve, take the curve itself on the inside and end up on the outside again. Here's an example image I found on Google: -click-
2) Slide as little as possible.
3) Watch this video and try to copy the driving line (just try not to hit the grass after the first curve :)). -click-

Hey Wolf, all the cars are the same, if you did not know.

With fuel mode on, your times should be around 27.5xx.

With fuel mode off (of on, with low fuel) your times should be around 26.5xx.

Make sure you don't slide the car, you will lose a lot of speed.

You should try to cut off at least 2 seconds. I am in the 21.xxx range consistantly now, i know Dede has goten into 20.xxx, so with 24.xxx you will fall behind fast.

Hey Wolf, get MSN messanger. Along this Toca Tour i can help you with each track. It is pretty much impossible for me to help you, if we only set up through Forum PMs or E Mail. Get MSN and PM me your address. You can use you Hotmail address for MSN too. Talk to you soon.

My best so far on this track is a 21.5xx i think. Though i have not put in many laps with fuel mode off. 20.xxx is possible for me..i think :P

How many laps did you do? I suggest to do some 50 laps' session without fuel and damage in order to get a fast lucky lap, and then some simulation of the race in order to learn how to be costant and to choose your tactic.

You should be overtaken every 7 laps with the current record you have, so pay attention to the faster cars that come from your behind, in order not to be penalized.

I would not be too worried about lap times. With fuel mode, it is pretty much impossible to get close to record laps, ecpecially in a race. Fuel mode really seems to even out all drivers, thats why the last race had 4 guys close to each other, for most of the race.

i think next races will not be so tighter...fuel and damage makes competition more thight, but there are 2-3 players this time that are too fast for all!!!
In my point of view in last race i could achieve 1st place quite easily with a nice keyboard...
In next race i ll fight for 3rd place (if players 1 and 2 will show)...i can t do more at the moment...i just hope that my new Keyboard will not give me problems!!

Wolf: i agree with dede...do some session without fuel...then in last day train with fuel and damage in order to set up a good strategy!!

Haha who are those 2-3 drivers Waza? I feel good that i have a chance at taking a win in this cup, even in the next race it is possible. I did not expect to win the last race at all, but i was damn close if were not for my fuel shortage at the end, i have confidence now. :)

If you think so, then you will not run for the win. Consider that in race you'll drive also with low percentage of fuel (less than 20%), then it's pretty easy to be close to your personal bests done without fuel (0.1-0.2-0.3 maximum).

By the way, I'm really afraid about the traffic during qualify and race.. my tactics are really tight and one crash caused by a slow driver blocking could be fatal. Maybe we should put some rule like Formula 1's 107%. As I saw in the video, some slow driver blocked in certain cases.

Just wait tomorrow and you will see!!
I was just speaking about me...i ll be very happy if i get a podium this time (ver very happy  )!!!

C'mon fellas I wanna see your Zandvoort times

With fuel mode on I could reach a 33.952 as best lap, I think every lap under 34'2xx is pretty good.

Hmmm Perhaps this post is not the proper place to ask this question but... what happened to Malta server?? I couldn't connect the last 3 days :S

I don't remember.. I practised only once for 10 laps circa without fuel, and I got something like 33.9xx, IIRC! So I guess your time is superb, isn't it?

Argh, this time I didn't practise much and I am able to drive only 34.1 with fuel on (with low fuel level). I did 10 laps without fuel and 9 laps with fuel, not enough to win this time. I hope to arrive in Top5.

Dede is only tring to get inside our heads, im sure! :P

I have not made many laps yet, i made a 33.8xx with no fuel (out of my first 10 laps) and a 34.2 with fuel on (qualifying test).

I'm on my PC now to make some laps, going to do that......now!
